Keys in ARC Raiders are not rare finds, but without them you will quickly run into closed doors and lose access to valuable loot. Below you will find a detailed analysis of each key, how to obtain it and where you can use it.
What are the keys in ARC Raiders
Keys are one-time passes to enclosed spaces located on different maps. Each of these doors hides either elite loot, caches of increased value, or alternative routes for fast travel.
- These are consumable items that disappear after use.
- Most of them drop randomly on different maps.
- Many keys can be obtained as quest rewards.
- If you die, the key disappears unless it is in a protected pocket.
Keys and their purpose
Below are all the keys that exist in the current version of the game, with an explanation of where to look for them and what doors they open. Keys are consumed when used, so it is highly advisable to spend them only on night raids, when the chance of getting something really valuable is noticeably higher.
Keys on the map Battlefield at the Dam
Key to the Dam Observation Room
Where to get it:
- Drop in rooms throughout the location
- Drop in the Research and Development zone administration
- Given in the quest “Bribery spare parts”
What unlocks:door of the observation room in the Water Purifier Control Room building, southwestern sector of the map. Inside there is a weapon case and several containers with loot.
Key from dam staff rooms
Where to get:
- Rare drop inside Research and Administration
What it opens: room near the Control Tower. This is a small room with rare level boxes. Located in the center of the location. To get into the room, use the two ziplines on the outside – they will take you to the very top.
Control room key towers
Where to get:
- Random drop in the Research and Administration zone
- Reward for the “Triad” quest
What opens: the central control room in the control tower. The door is located on the upper levels, access is possible via a zipline inside.
Key from testing rooms
Where to get:
- Rare drop in Research and Administration
- Reward for the quest “Terrain”
What opens: the doors of the testing building in the southeast. Both doors lead to rooms with resources.
Keys on the map Spaceport
Container storage key
Where to get:
- Most often residential buildings like the Ruby Residence on the Dam Battlefield map
What it opens: the building is located in the southern part of the area near tower A6. From the entrance, go up to the very top of the vault, the closed door is located there.
Ground control center key Spaceport
Where to get:
- Residential buildings like the Ruby Residence on the Dam Battlefield map
What unlocks:central control room of the Spaceport. The building is located slightly west of tower A6. If you are facing the Control Tower, turn around towards the repair area, the required door will be on the right.
Key from trench towers
Where to get:
- Residential buildings like the Ruby Residence on the Dam Battlefield map
What it opens: with one key you can open both towers in the northeastern part of the Spaceport. Each tower has a separate entrance and its own loot.
The key to the bunker on outskirts
Where to get:
- Residential buildings like the Ruby Residence on the map Battlefield at the Dam
What opens:the bunker doors. this bunker is not on the map; it is located in the west of the location. An open door leads inside and the room acts as an extraction point. Be careful: this is the only passage, and other players can easily block your exit.
Key from spaceport warehouse
Where to get it:
- Research and administration on the map Battlefield at the Dam
- Residential areas on the map Battlefield at the Dam
What unlocks:top floor of the northern warehouse. The huge warehouse building is visible from afar. To open the room you need to go to the top floor. Inside, the loot is mostly weapons.
Keys on the map Buried City
Hospital Key
Where to get it:
- In residential areas
- Research and administration on the map Dam Battlefield
What it opens: The room is located on the lower floor, just outside the locker room area. High chance of receiving medical consumables.
Key from City Hall
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas
- Reward for the quest “Our presence above”
What opens:the main entrance of the city hall. The city hall building is located closer to the center of the map, inside there are three levels with a huge amount of loot. The rooms contain weapon cases and boxes with consumables
Key from apartments “Grandioso”
Where to get:
- Random drop in the Research and Administration location on the map Battlefield at the Dam
What opens: various apartments in the western region of the Buried City. Great place for quiet farming.
Employee pass JKV
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas
What opens:a steel door on the lower level of the parking lot. Inside – equipment, cartridges, tools.
Keys on the map Blue Gate
Wanderer's Pinnacle Key
Where to get it:
- Random drop in residential areas and apartments
What it unlocks: first go through the elevator shaft, then go down the zipline. The room with the castle is located just around the corner. Loot in this zone is usually of a high level.
Key to the room with confiscated items
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas, apartments and the Ruby Residence
What it opens: allows you to get into the confiscation room located deep in the tunnels. The room is marked on the map, but the entrance is hidden. Go down the zipline, then follow the corridor and down the stairs.
Key from cellars in Olive Grove
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas and Spaceport offices
What it opens: opens a cellar south of Olive Grove. There is a compact cache of resources there.
Key from Villages
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas
- Research and administration on the map Battlefield at the Dam
What it unlocks: gives access to the village house in the west of the map. Look for large double doors at the entrance to the village, the key fits exactly to them.
Key from patrol car
Where to get:
- Random drop in residential areas
- Reward for the quest “Armored vehicles”
What opens: the trunk of a patrol car near the Work Tower. Often there are weapons and ammunition inside.
Keys on the Stella map Montis
Key to the Medical Research Corps
Where to get it:
- Random drop
What it opens: opens medical caches in Stella Montis research complexes. These rooms are located in the Medical Research Corps area, inside there will be loot from medical consumables to something more valuable
