On the territory of the sacred city of Ohema in Honkai: Star Railyou can find several majestic statues of the Lions of Truth. These sculptures love to baffle passers-by by asking them tricky questions. For interacting with them, you can get both a pleasant reward and a painful bite. From this guide, you will learn how to find all the lion heads and give the correct answers to collect prizes and avoid punishment.
Lions of Truth on Amphoreus in XSR
At the time of version 3.0, these statues can only be found on the territory of Ochema. They look like grinning lion faces. Conversations with them will become available after completing the story quest “O silver chariot, rush to the dark lands.”
To hear the riddle, approach the lion and interact with it. After that, you will have to put your hand in its mouth, and then agree to the test.
After you hear the riddle, you can choose whether you want to find the answer yourself or whether it would be better to use the help of a friend. If you prefer to consult with someone, you will get a funny interaction with new acquaintances from Amphoreus, but it is worth considering that they rarely offer the right solution.
If you decide to do it yourself, you will be offered several options for answering the question posed by the lion. You can choose any of them or return to the window asking for help from a friend.
Important: Receiving a reward does not depend on the correct answer! If you make a mistake, the lion will simply bite you on the hand, but the rewards will remain the same as in the case of the correct solution.
For each answer to the riddle, the lion will give you 15 units of heavenly ambrosia and 1 consumable item. Also, for solving the very first problem, you will receive 1 memory shard.
In total, 8 such Lions of Truth can be found in Ochem. Their locations are indicated on the maps below.

Lion of Truth 1
Travel to the Marble Fair. From the spatial anchor, go down the stairs in the southern direction. On the right wall you will see the first lion. Put your hand in its mouth to hear a riddle. The correct answer is marked in the image below.
Lion of Truth 2
Next, head to Kefala Square and take the corridor leading north. A stone head will appear right in front of you. Interact with it to hear a riddle. The strange entity described by the lion will turn out to be “gossip and rumors”.
Lion of Truth 3
The next riddle will be waiting for you in the corridor to the west of the Geozaur workshop. When you put your hand in the mouth, the lion will voice its task. This time, the game will not offer an answer that would satisfy the stone statue, so you can choose any line you like. Then listen to the explanation, after which you will receive a reward.
Lion of Truth 4
Move to the northern part of the city to the Hall of Rest. In the room to the west of your room with Dan Heng, there will be a statue in the center of the wall. This time, the game again does not offer you the correct option. Choose any answer, because after the bite and explanation you will gain access to the reward.
Lion of Truth 5
Next, head to the Bowl of Plenty and go to the southern room adjacent to the baths. In the corner, you will find the next statue. This is not the first time that the lion will not have an answer that satisfies him. When he reveals who is really to blame, you will receive a reward.
Lion of Truth 6
This lion can be found in the corridor north of the Bowl of Plenty. The sculpture will again not accept any of the options. All you have to do is endure the bite to collect the reward.
Lion of Truth 7
From the Three Seasons Courtyard teleport, run along the corridor in a north-east direction. At the dead end, you will see another sculpture. The riddle of this lion will be easier than the previous ones. We have marked the answer in the image below.
Lion of Truth 8
Move to the second level of the location to the Garden of Life. Turn south to see the sculpture. This lion is distinguished by his love for witty answers. But despite this, he will find only one option, highlighted in the picture below, funny enough.
Achievements
If you give an answer, no matter correct or not, to four and eight Lions of Truth, you will receive the achievements “Queen/King of Philosophy” and “Traveler in the Light”, respectively.
