How to get the Insatiable Protoworm
Find and defeat the boss Old Worm Insatiable
Explore the Web Pit location until you reach altar Leaf Bridge. From this point, go left and cross the mossy bridge. After that, go across another bridge on the left and approach the gate with talking lanterns. After a short cutscene, go through the gate and collect all the treasures from the chests.
Follow the depths of the cave where you will see a Yaoguai worm. Go down to the arena and defeat it. After the battle, the Voracious Protoworm will appear in your list of important items.
How to Grow a Ravenous Protoworm
In order to be able to cultivate various plants, as well as grow this larva, you need to open the location Zodiac Village.

Give the Protoworm to Chen-long in the Zodiac Village

How to find Rice Cocoons

Feed the Protoworm Insatiable
Once you have all three Rice Cocoons, return to the Zodiac Village and feed the worm three times. After that, rest at the altar again and return to the pots.
In the place of the small pot with the larva, you will see the spirit of the Old Insatiable Worm, which can be absorbed using the bottle.
