A Good Potion Is Not Easy to Make Quest Walkthrough
This quest is one of a series of daily quests about the village doctor Maroufa. To unlock it, you need to choose the wrong answers in another task – Good medicine is not easy to obtain. The daily drops randomly, so to make it easier to get it, it is recommended to select Sumeru as the main region in the corresponding menu.
We receive this quest from Zakaria, a doctor from Bimarstan in Sumeru, who previously helped Marouf with the recipe and is his mentor. Zakaria is concerned about the condition of his colleague, who has experimented with recipes before, which has caused him to become ill again. The doctor asks us to collect ingredients for a new potion that will help cure Marouf.
Maroufa can suffer from the effects of three different concoctions available for making in the A Good Potion Isn't Easy to Make quest – headaches, sudden vision impairment, or stomach pain, depending on which one was previously prepared incorrectly.
If Marouf was poisoned by a potion for vision impairment
Zakaria will ask us to find and bring him three scarabs. The collected ingredients will need to be given to the doctor so that he can make a medicine that must be given to Maroufa.
If Maroufa was poisoned by a headache potion
This medicine requires three red berries. We give them to Zakaria, read a short dialogue and receive a new assignment – to go to the village of Aaru to help Marouf.
If Marouf was poisoned by a potion for stomach pain
Three agilene nuts will help against the consequences of the improperly prepared medicine for stomach pain, their location is marked on the map above. Another 10 nuts can be bought from the merchant Azalai from the same village. We give them to Zakaria, and he will prepare a healing decoction.
When the potion is ready, Zakaria will send us to the village of Aaru to Marouf, who is suffering from the consequences of his decoction. You can find it in the same place as always.
