In Genshin ImpactA Tale of Dreams Torn from Fire is a short quest chain in Natlan that allows you to explore the Pyro Region and its tribes. During it, you will explore ruins, find a symbol of discovery, return to the surface via a spiritual path, enter the upper worlds, and defeat awakened monsters. In this guide, we will tell you how to start this line and provide links to complete all the quests.
How to Start the Tale of Dreams Torn from the Fire chain
Before you can take on the first quest in this line, you will need to meet certain conditions, which include:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 40.
- Complete the Archon quest “A Black Stone Buried Under White,” which is the second chapter of Volume 5 of the main storyline.
Once you've completed the requirements, you'll be able to head to the ruins and meet Chikia there, saving her from enemies, to begin the starting quest of the chain. We'll tell you more about this after the release of update 5.0…
The Past Cannot Be Traced
Head to the flaming ruins and deal with a group of enemies, then explore the ruins and find the opening symbol. Examine the device in the center, insert the opening symbol into the flagiston engraving, and return to the surface using the spiritual path.
As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 250 adventure points, 30 primogems, 20 thousand mora, 2 hero books, and 3 units of magic ore of enhancement. A detailed walkthrough of the quest is presented in our separate material.
The Seeker Does Not Find
Take on the search for the legendary “elixir that heals any wound” with Chikia. To do this, head to the upper worlds and begin exploring the rainbow inscriptions on the floating islands. Next, get to the central stone tablet and deal with the awakened monsters.
As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 300 adventure points, 40 source stones, 30 thousand mora, 2 hero books, 3 units of magic ore of enhancement and a fragment of the rainbow inscription. A detailed walkthrough of the quest is presented in our separate material.
