With update 5.2 in Genshin Impact, two native tribes of Natlan were added at once: the Nightwind Lords and the Flowerfeather Clan. Therefore, players have the opportunity to continue the series of Spiritual Path Trials. Accept the challenge from the best trainers and complete the speed runs with the maximum number of points to get three chests of different rarities for each and open two new secret achievements.
In this guide we will tell you how to find all the “Warrior's Trials” added in patch 5.2, complete training for the maximum SS rank and unlock the achievements “Ice Sliding” and “Battle Spirits…”.
Where are all the Spiritual Path Trials from update 5.2 in Natlan
This is already the second part of “Warrior's Trials» in the Pyro region. We suggest you familiarize yourself with the first part of the guide, which indicates the locations and the process of completing all the trainings from the Children of Echo, the Descendants of Kron and the Folk of the Springs, as well as the general rules for completing the spiritual path trials.
In the northwest of Natlan, you can find 6 trainingsfrom NPC experts, three for each tribe. All these tests are scattered around the Cuahuacan cliff and the Tezcatepetonco ridge. Below we will consider in detail the location and conditions for the appearance of trainers, as well as the passage of the competitions prepared by them.
[1] Acomitl: “The Reason for Victory and Defeat”
The first trainer on our list, Acomitl, will give you access to his training during the quest “Molting Period”. Go to the hill southeast of the Flowerfeather Clan (mark on the map above), deal with the saurian merchants and find a way to get into the basement. Afterwards, the young man will offer to take the “Reason for Victory and Defeat” assessment.
Use the abilities of the cornsaurus (a mark for changing the appearance will appear on the site after the test starts) or Chaska and score at least 8200 points (SS-rank/41 coins). Below is a video of the “Reason for Victory and Defeat” race for maximum rank:
When controlling a winged zavrian, you can:
- Fly with acceleration (constant on LMB and push – on RMB);
- Adjust flight altitude (down – left Ctrl, up – space).
After successfully completing a run to at least S-rank, you will have access to the regular, rich and precious chests. In total, they contain 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, and may contain a Scarlet Obsidian Fragment and other loot for leveling up characters and equipment.
[2] Pulmari: “Forward! And forward again!”
Next, move to the teleporter west of the Sacred Flame Stadium and go down south to the Pulmari site of the Night Wind Lords ((see the map marker above). The girl is an expert in the “Forward! And forward again!” training, during which you need to use the skills of the Ictomizaurus or Ororon.
To reach the maximum SS rank, you need to score at least 22 thousand points and collect 161 coins. The video below shows how to control the cryosaur and reach the finish line with the best result:
In this run for the cryo saurian, it will be enough to jump into the air and glide (jump up while holding down the spacebar), use the wind currents to accelerate and gradually move towards the finish line, collecting gold tokens along the way.
If you finish with an S rating, three chests with the following contents await you: 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, Purple Obsidian Fragment (50/50 chance), random low-level artifacts, weapons, and materials for leveling up heroes and equipment.
[3] Mataga: “Unwavering Faith”
The location of this trainer is connected with the quest “Forward! Only Forward!“, the passage of which we have analyzed in detail in a separate guide. Below we will leave a video with the passage of the training “Unshakable Faith“:
For SS rank, you need to collect 12 thousand points and 41 coins. Before the flight, a cornucopia mark will appear at the start, but you can use Chaska instead of the saurian.
From the three chests given out upon completing the S-rank, you can loot: 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, a Scarlet Obsidian Fragment (50/50 chance), and other random items, materials, and low-sharpness weapons.
[4] Manyoya: “Repeat Touch”
Trainer Manyoya gives access to his training during the quest “Zavrian Returns to the Nest“, all the details of which we discussed in a separate guide. Check out the video of the “Repeat Touch” race:
Transform into a cornsaurus at the start or choose Chaska as your active character, and then use their flying skills. To get an SS rating, you need to score at least 12 thousand points and 65 coins.
The three treasures obtained by completing the S-rank flight contain: 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, a small chance of a Scarlet Obsidian Fragment, as well as mora, resources for upgrading characters and equipment, random low-level artifacts and weapons.
[5] Kinne: “Collected”
The penultimate trainer Kinne stands under a waterfall north of the Night Wind Lords clan (map mark above). She offers to participate in the “Collected” challenge, which requires the skills of a cryosaur (skin change mark is in the waterfall) or Ororon.
To evaluate SS, you need to collect at least 16 thousand points and 133 coins. This challenge is made in the “platformer” genre (the camera will switch to a side view), and the player has to jump, collect tokens and dodge purple inspiration spheres in time. The video below shows how to complete the “Collected” race to get the highest score:
Of the Ictomysaurus skills, you will only need jumping and smooth hovering (holding down the spacebar). Please note that missed coins irretrievably go underground.
After completing the S-rated challenge, you will gain access to three chests that contain: 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, a small chance of a Purple Obsidian Fragment, and other standard resources.
[6] Bicine: “Leap to the Top”
The last trainer, Bicien, is standing on the northern edge of the cliff in the vicinity of the Night Wind Lords tribe (the exact location is indicated in the map screenshot above). If the expert is not there, be sure to complete the reputation quest “Call of the Night Wind Lords”. The man is in charge of the “Leap to the Top” training, for which you need to use Ororon or Ictomysaur.
To reach the SS mark, you will have to score at least 22 thousand points and pick up 168 coins along the way. Below is a video walkthrough of this run:
Not only can you jump and glide behind the Cryo Saurian, but you can also collect boosters along the way – yellow marks that you need to look at with echolocation (holding down the left mouse button). These buffs temporarily increase the height of your jump.
By default, upon receiving an S rating, you will be given three chests with the following contents: 17 Primogems, 6 Pyro Seals, with a small chance of a Purple Obsidian Fragment, and other standard resources.
