How to solve all the torch puzzles in the Sumeru desert
Torch puzzle 1
The first puzzle is located northwest of Aaru village. Use the nearest teleportation point and go to the edge of the cliff to see the chest.
For convenience, take Ember to the team – you can light torches with her without leaving the chest itself and without waiting for the rollback of skills.
Stand with your back to the chest so the camera faces northwest. Below the character's level, between several stones, there will be the first torch.
Rotate the camera 90 degrees to the left to see the second torch.
The third torch will be a level higher than the previous two. Rotate the camera another 90 degrees to the left and slightly up to reveal it.
The fourth torch is the furthest away; turn the camera another 90 degrees to the left to see it. If you fail to light the torch while standing next to the chest, you can move closer to it.
After you light all four torches, the rich chest will automatically unlock.
Torch Puzzle 2
The second chest is located northwest of pits of Abju. Teleport to a point north of the pit and glide southwest.
This chest will have several transparent torches around it. To make them visible, you will need the help of a triyana seed. It can be found in a burnt state by the chest; attack the Dendro seed with an element to power it.
The seed itself will guide you through all two transparent torches. Your task is to hit the seed with an Electro element to make all the torches visible. Catalysts and archers are most convenient for this.
Don't forget to light these two torches when you manifest them in the physical world.
Not far from the second torch, you will see another Triyana seed. Animate it with the Dendro element and proceed to the third transparent lantern.
The last torch is under a pile of sand to the southwest of the chest. It is not necessary to blow off the sand to light the torch.
Torch puzzle 3
The third chest is located in the territory of the underground temples, where you can get during the world quest “Golden Land of Dreams”.
< p>To reach it, teleport to Abju's pit and go forward until you exit into a room with a lifting plate along the left wall. Activate the elevator to drop down one level and get to the puzzle.
The screenshot below shows the location of all four torches. The right torch will initially be transparent; to manifest the lantern in the real world, wait for the triana seed to fly near it and hit the seed with an Electro element.
Torch puzzle 4
The fourth chest is located in the same area as the third, so don't rush out of the dungeons. From the room with the third puzzle, turn into the left passage, and then use another elevator – it can be summoned using the button on the wall.
Here you have to activate the torches with a special device that can be obtained by moving the blue inverted pyramid to illuminated slab.
Touch the cell. While the golden crystal above the character's head is active, run near the three transparent torches to manifest them in the real world.
After that, light all the torches, including the pre-existing torch located near the chest.
Torch puzzle 5
The fifth chest is on the surface at the entrance to the Hemenu Temple. Initially, the chest will not be in place; it will appear after you develop and light four torches.
To get started, unlock the cage with the golden crystal using the stand with the book. If your book is highlighted in white, you will need to level up your power first.
After that, touch the cage and walk near the two transparent torches on the left side and the two torches on the right side. Light the torches to get a rich chest.
Torch Puzzle 6
The sixth puzzle is located west of the Sobek Oasis.
Here you will also have to manifest four transparent torches. First, move the blue prism to the highlighted tile to unlock the cage with the golden crystal.
Activate the crystal. You will see the first torch in the northeast.
The second torch will be behind a rock to the right of the first.
The third torch is located near the road to the right of the second torch, and the fourth one is near the round slab with the chest.
Torch puzzle 7
The seventh torch puzzle is located in the south east of Magma Dune.
Activate the cage with the golden crystal on the roof abandoned temple and manifest the two torches that are located here.
The third and fourth torches are located below between the destroyed walls.
Torch puzzle 8
The eighth chest is inside Magma Dune. To find it, enter the temple and drop down to the level below. Don't forget to raise the blue prism while doing this – you'll need it below.
Place the prism on the illuminated slab to unlock the familiar mechanism.
Use the crystal to reveal all the transparent torches. The screenshots below show their location.
Torch puzzle 9
The ninth puzzle is located along the road northeast of Magma Dune. Pick up the blue prism near the two vultures and take it to the illuminated slab near the chest to activate the cage with the yellow crystal.
To unlock the chest, you need to manifest and set fire to all the torches indicated in the screenshot below.
Torch Puzzle 10
The tenth puzzle is located on the surface east of tomb of King Deshret.
Activate the crystal mechanism and manifest all the torches shown in the screenshot below. After that, set fire to the structures and take the reward from the chest.
Torch Puzzle 11
The eleventh chest is located near the Garden of Broken Pillars. There are no transparent torches here, so you can immediately set them on fire from any distance. Two torches are at the foot of the cliff, the other two are on the tops; use the four leaf symbols to get to them quickly if you're not using an archer to set fire to them.
Torch puzzle 12
The twelfth chest can be found north of the tomb King Deshret.
Start by teleporting to the indicated point near the northern temple and climb up the stairs using the four-leaf symbols.
After that, turn right in the opened room. Use the nearby book to activate the cage.
Touch the mechanism and turn to face the great hall of truth. Walk along the edge of the ledge with a golden crystal above your head to activate four torches (two of them will be in the corners). After lighting the torches, you will receive a precious chest.
Torch Puzzle 13
The search for the thirteenth puzzle begins from the same point north of the tomb of King Deshret. Plan below the level of the teleportation point and climb the stairs to the temple. Inside, don't turn anywhere and climb another ladder.
In the puzzle room you will see a blue prism slab. Go to the stairs on the right and reach its end, pick up the prism behind the sand clock and take it to the slab to activate the cage with the crystal.

Torch puzzle 14
The fourteenth chest is also located in the underground caves. Teleport to the southwest corner of the king's tomb.
Outside the room, you will see a chest and a Triyana seed flying along a certain route. Like last time, you need to follow the seed and hit it with the Electro element when it passes near the transparent torches.
Torch Puzzle 15
The fifteenth puzzle is located between the tomb of King Deshret and the temple of Hemenu. Teleport to the point below, turn into the right corridor and drop down to the level below. Go through the short maze to the room with the puzzle.
Unlock the mechanism with a stand with a book. After that walk around the room along the walls to reveal the four lanterns.

The sixteenth chest is on the surface in the south of the desert . Here, all torches can be set on fire with the Pyro element at once.
