All characters and guests in No, I’m not a Human: how to distinguish

No, I’m not a Human (No, I’m not human)– a game where reality and nightmare mix in one house. Strangers are constantly knocking on your door, and the life of everyone inside, including your own, depends on your choice to let you in or drive you away. The main fear in this game is not the jump scares, but the uncertainty. Each visitor can be either a human or a creature called a Guest – a parasite that has taken on human form. To survive, the player must learn to distinguish them by little things: by eyes, hands, teeth and even photographs.

Basic principles for identifying Guests

A Guest never kills another Guest

If someone in the house died, the Guest was the killer, and the victim was a person. But if there is only one Guest in the house, he will not touch anyone until the second one appears. This is the main law.

After the death of a person, bags remain

If you see a bag with a body, it was a person. If there is a corpse on the floor, you have killed the Guest. Sometimes the death of a Guest is accompanied by interference or glitches on the screen.

Guests begin to act only in a group

One Guest can live peacefully in the house, but as soon as a second appears, the night of murder begins.

Random roles

The game has characters who are always human and those who are always Guests, as well as random ones that change from playthrough to playthrough. It is the latter that causes difficulties. And more often than not, they have a single physical sign that indicates their essence.

But it is important to remember: a single sign does not guarantee that there is an enemy in front of you. Some characters fake symptoms. You need to consider all the evidence as a whole and observe the behavior of the guests.

How to check characters

The game is based on observation. After you let a person into the house, when talking with him, you can look at his hands, eyes, teeth, armpits or take a photo. Not only appearance is important, but also reaction. Guests often avoid direct gaze or shift the conversation if the topic of the body is brought up.

There are also separate checks when the Guest Hunter arrives. He tests you for the same signs, and you can use these rules yourself:

  • Teeth – light a cigarette before testing so that they turn yellow
  • Hands – don’t dig the ground
  • Eyes – don’t drink coffee or Energy for a couple of days
  • Armpits – the problem is solved with a shower if the bathroom is not occupied
  • Ears and photos – it’s better not show

Therefore, do not forget to check your hero so that you are not accidentally considered a Guest.

  • Regular people – never turn out to be Guests

Guest behavior and hidden patterns

Guests are not just killers. Their nature is multi-layered: some of them are not aware of their essence, while others, on the contrary, act consciously, sometimes even playing with the victim. Behavior and dialogue can tell more than appearance. Below are characteristic patterns of behavior that are worth paying attention to.

1. Inconsistency of emotions with context

If a character talks about a tragedy with a slight smile or laugh, this is a clear warning sign. Guests often do not feel empathy and react unnaturally.

2. Excessive attention to bodily topics

When a visitor talks too persistently about the body, pain, purity or rot, he is most likely a Guest. This is a manifestation of their subconscious fixation on the physical shell that they stole from people.

3. Repeating phrases

Some Guests tend to repeat the same words. It can even be one short replica, repeated with microscopic changes – mechanical speech, learned.

4. Reaction to Photo

When trying to show a photo, the human character will usually comment on the image or express confusion. The guest either remains silent or asks not to look. Some photos are distorted right when displayed – a black aura, glare, spots or haze appears on the face.

5. Impact on the atmosphere

Some Guests change their environment after checking in: creaks may begin, the light dims, new details appear in the mirror. If such effects occur, check the residents one by one.

Tips and survival strategies

Don't let everyone in: see who most often causes murders. One case is an accident, the second is a pattern.

Check yourself in the mirror: the main character’s signs change over time – his teeth turn yellow, his eyes turn red. If you see these signs in yourself, remember them so as not to accidentally give away the signs that you are a “Guest” to the Guest Hunter.

Don't forget about cigarettes, coffee, beer and Enerzhek: these items affect checks and can save lives. For example, a cigarette darkens your teeth, and giving up coffee makes your eyes calmer.

All characters and guests in No, I’m not a Human: how to distinguish

Don’t forget to give a report to the CoES: if you are sure that one of the residents is a stranger, give him a report to the CoES so that the employees will take him and not one of the checked guests.

Lead entries: the game is random, so the best way to survive is to have your own journal, where you mark who turned out to be who in one race and according to what criteria. Also, in order not to miss anything, you can mark which sign you have already checked and from whom.

In No, I’m not a Human, it is impossible to survive by relying only on random. Each visitor requires analysis, observation and patience. But if you remember the basic principles, you can figure out most of the guests before they start killing.
