In God of War Ragnarok, Odin's ravens are green ghostly birds that can be found throughout the nine worlds. In total, 48 ravens can be found. After finding and knocking them all down with the axe, you will be able to open six legendary chests in Niflheim and fight the Guardian secret boss to complete the Eye of Odin request.
In this guide, we will tell you where to find all of them Odin's ravens and the legendary chests they open, as well as how to defeat the Keeper and the dragon named Pale. Note that the chests contain runic attacks and an excellent set of Raven's Tears armor.
Svartalfheim
Odin's Raven 1
- Location: Aurvanga Swamps
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. Once you're in the area for the first time, after leaving the Mystic Gate, take a few steps forward and then pan the camera up and to the left – you'll find a bird on a cliff.
Odin's Raven 2
- Location: Nidavellir
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. Moor ashore on a boat and go to the city. Climbing up to the statue of Odin, you will notice a bird sitting on the building on the left.
Odin's Raven 3
- Location: Watchtower
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. Get to the Mystic Gate of the specified area, and then go along the path on the right side of the gnome store. Throw the ax at the jar of oil to clear the path and go upstairs. Once near the draugr pit, look towards the path you were walking along earlier – you can see a bird in the air (it flies in circles near the tower).
Odin's Raven 4
- Location: Radswinn's Machine
You can find him during or after the passage of the story mission “Search for Tyr”. The easiest way to get to this area is by taking the additional quest “In the Service of Asgard” from the musician in the Nidavellir Inn, and then following his signs.
After reaching the Mystic Gate of the indicated location, follow the path to the right and climb up the ledges. You will see a bird sitting on a crane hook.
Odin's Raven 5
- Location: Altjof's Machine
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. After docking at the indicated area, climb the chain and you will see the desired bird slightly ahead on the left.
Odin's Raven 6
- Location: Lungbakr Island
You can find him during or after the passage of the story mission “Search for Tyr”. You can get to the desired island during the request “The severity of the chains”. Swim to its south side and moor next to the geyser. Then start releasing your fins to lift the land out of the water.
After freeing the second fin, deal with a group of enemies. Destroy the nest and find a jar of incendiary bombs. Open the gate on the left side and take the fireball. Run back to the right to find the gold deposits blocking the path. Throw a bomb at them, then move forward.
On the right side you will see a small tunnel – crawl through it and on the left you will find a green bird.
Odin's Raven 7
- Location: Forge
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. You can return to the indicated area using the trolley, standing next to the mystical gates of the Nidavellir Shore. After getting out of the cart, look up and to the right – the desired bird will fly in circles in the sky.
Raven of Odin 8
- Location: Forge
You can find it during or after completing the story mission “The Smith of Your Destiny”. After you climb the mountain with Brock, you will need to go through a short tunnel. Crossing to the other side, you should be able to see a green bird up ahead on a nearby ledge.
Odin's Raven 9
- Location: Yarnsmead Mines
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. Having descended on the second trolley to the mine, fight off the enemies. Below in this area, find a chain leading to the water – use it. Once down, you should notice a bird circling in the sky. Throw an ax at her when she flies past the platform.
Note that to return to the indicated area after completing the story, you must go through the Core. Travel to the Mystic Gate in the Aurvanga Swamps, and then take the ferry to the Sands of Sverd. Look for the elevator there to take you to the Core, and then just head back down the story path.
Odin's Raven 10
- Location: Core
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Search for Tyr” story mission. After solving the puzzle with water wheels and gutters, go to the large wooden door. Before you go inside, turn left to see a bird perched on a beam.
Odin's Raven 11
- Location: Alberich Gorge
You will be able to find it only after completing the story mission “The Smith of Your Destiny”. The specified area can be reached through the Dragon Coast, located in the southeast of the Blessed Bay. Once on the beach, climb up using your chain and spear, then cross the bridge and go left.
The further path will be blocked by a gold deposit. Take the fireballs from the jug and destroy the barrier. The green bird will sit on the left near the tree.
Odin's Raven 12
- Location: Alberich Island
You will be able to find it only after completing the story mission “The Smith of Your Destiny”. The required berth is located in the north of Blagodatnaya Bay. Having got out on the shore, climb up with the help of a spear. Follow the road to the right, and to the left of the destroyed bridge you will see debris that can be destroyed with green arrows. The bird will fly right near the edge of the cliff.
Raven of Odin 13
- Location: Alberich Island
After finding the previous raven, return to the dilapidated bridge and use the capture point to get to the lower wooden deck. The next capture point will allow you to get to a small island. Walk a little forward and climb the ledge. The bird will sit in a hole between the rocks.
Alfheim
Odin's Raven 14
- Location: Strand
You can find him during or after completing the Secret of Groa story mission. Move to the mystical gate, and then move forward through the story. After Tyr spots the Temple of Light, continue along the main road and cross the broken bridge. The bird will sit on the tree on the left.
Odin's Raven 15
- Location: Temple of Light
You can find him during or after completing the Secret of Groa story mission. As you go up the spiral staircase, keep looking to the left until you see a place where you can jump down. Having done this, follow the road as it leads to the right. The bird you need will sit behind a metal grill. Throw your ax at the twilight rock to your left to hit the raven.
Note: If you are going to return here after the first visit to the location, then move to the mystic gate in Strand, and then simply repeat the entire story path.
Odin's Raven 16
- Location : Temple of Light
From the previous raven, continue completing the story objectives until you reach the place where Kratos and Tyr are knocking down pillars, thus creating a ghostly bridge. Then go past the chest with runes on the opposite side and go up the stairs to the right – you will see a bird on the balcony on the left.
Odin's Raven 17
- Location: Canyons
You can find it after completing the story mission “Secret of Groa”. Move to the Strand Mystic Gate and go to the right – there will be a passage leading to the area you need. Move forward and deal with the red shoots, and then climb the wall. Once up, look at the rocks on the right to see a green bird soaring in the sky.
Odin's Raven 18
- Location: Plains
You can find it after completing the story mission “Secret of Groa”. Go through the Canyons to get to the indicated area. Then keep to the left as you head north. Soon you will notice a bird sitting in a tree next to a white building.
Odin's Raven 19
- Location: Plains
After finding the previous crow, go to the northeast of the specified area. There you will find the skeleton of a huge creature, in the right eye socket of which another green bird will sit.
Odin's Raven 20
- Location: Forbidden Sands
You can find him after completing the “Payback” story mission. You will immediately be given a new skill with which you can unlock the passage to the specified area, located northwest of the Plains. When you get there, you will immediately receive the side quest “Song of the Sands” – we advise you to complete it so that the storms in the area will stop.
Now, from the entrance to the Forbidden Sands, move to the northwestern part of the location. There you will find a huge statue holding a sword. Next to her, over the abyss, a green bird will soar.
Odin's Raven 21
- Location: Forbidden Sands
From the entrance to the specified location, turn right and move to the eastern part of the area. On the right side you will find a small cliff where the bird you need will sit.
Raven of Odin 22
- Location: Forbidden Sands
Move to the western part of the indicated area to reach the hook point. Climb up and you will see a bird behind the statue.
Odin's Raven 23
- Location: Forbidden Sands
Travel to the northeast of the Forbidden Sands and look for the Elven Sanctuary there. Break the wall at the bottom of the building and crawl through the tunnel into the structure. Once in the secret room, look to the left and you will see a green bird.
Vanaheim
Odin's Raven 24
- Location: Southern Wastes
Reach the Mystic Gate in the indicated area and go forward a bit until you reach a fork. Turn left to the arch formed from the roots of the trees. A green bird will soar over a small pond.
Odin's Raven 25
- Location: Freyr's Camp
After talking with Freyrom and transferring Mimir to him, go through the wooden gate and move along the path. Go through the cave, and then look to the left. The green bird will sit on the tree on the left.
Odin's Raven 26
- Location: River Delta
You can find him after completing the “Payback” story mission. Take a boat to the Pilgrim's Coast. You will be able to reach the desired bird by lowering 2 drawbridges. The first one won't cause you much trouble – just fire a runic arrow into the brazier and then throw the ax at 2 seals.
The second one will be more difficult. Look at the tree on the right side. You need to first knock out a suspension with a couple of braziers, and then swing it with the help of blades. As a result, you will be able to light the right torch. Next, place purple marks on the hanger and hit the flame to create an explosion and activate the left brazier.
Swing the suspension again to light the torch on the rock with the vines leading to the second bridge. Now shoot at the fire and destroy the seals with the axe. Next, go to the legendary chest. On the left side of it you can see a gap through which you can knock out a raven.
Odin's Raven 27
- Location: River Delta
Dock to the shore A ruin on a rock opposite the Mystic Gate in the above area. Speak to the spirit to receive the Dead Conscience request, which will lead you straight to the Hidden Passage. After completing this mission, you will go down on the chains and get to the label of legends. From here you can easily knock out a bird sitting on a tree.
Note: If you have already completed the corresponding quest, then simply return to the specified location via the bridge, coming from the Ruins on the Rock.
Odin's Raven 28

Above we have explained how to get to this area. Note that before you get into the boat, you will need to release the chain hanging on the rock to the left of the chest with runes, from the vines. Then climb it up and use the chisel to open the path.
Follow the quest marker for The Conscience of the Dead until you reach the end of the river. Get on land, climb up and look to the left – you will see a bird on a branch.
Odin's Raven 29
- Location: Goddess Falls
You can find him after completing the “Payback” story mission. The Freya's Worry request leads to the desired area. The bird can be seen immediately after arriving at the coast, but it will fly quite high. So climb the wall, fly over the waterfall with the grapple point, and climb the other wall. After that you will be able to hit the raven.
Odin's Raven 30
- Location: East Barry Woods
You can find it during or after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. After entering the indicated area, move forward, and at the first fork, turn right. You will find a boulder here that can be destroyed with a spear. Having done this, go through a new passage, and then turn around and look up – the bird will be sitting on a tree.
Odin's Raven 31
- Location: Abandoned Village
You can find it during or after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. Follow the story path. Soon you will need to use the rope to descend to a new area. Having dealt with the enemies, go to the box, after which the chase will begin. Climb through the hole in the wall and move to the right – the bird is sitting in the tree opposite.
Odin's Raven 32
- Location: Plains
You can find it after completing the story mission “Beasts of Prophecy”. From the Mystic Gate in the western part of the Plains, turn right and follow the path forward. Then, instead of jumping to the right, turn the camera back and look down over the wall – a green bird will sit on the stone.
Odin's Raven 33
- Location: Plains
You can find it after completing the story mission “Beasts of Prophecy”. From the Mystic Gate in the western part of the Plains, jump to the left and move towards the frozen lightning. As you approach it, look to the left of the path and you will see a bird perched on a ledge.
Odin's Raven 34
- Location: Plains
You can find it after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. From the Mystic Gate in the eastern part of the Plains, drop off to the left and follow the road to Brock's shop. Directly opposite it, you will find a bird sitting on the edge of a cliff.

You can find it after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. After dealing with the red dragon during the “For Vanaheim!” request, go to the northwest corner of the arena and look down – the bird will sit on a stone.

< p>You can find it after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. From the Mystic Gate in the eastern part of the Plains, turn around and head north. Jump down and head towards the grappling point that allows you to fly across the gap, but don't use it. Instead, go to the edge of the cliff and look down – there you will see a bird soaring.
Odin's Raven 37
- Location: Jungle
You can find it after completing the “Beasts of Prophecy” story mission. You will automatically be given the secondary quest “The Smell of Survival”, which will lead you to a new area. The entrance to the Jungle, by the way, is located in the south of the Plains – switch to night time for a passage to appear. Next, go to the southwestern part of the location, to the dam.
When you approach this structure, you will be given the mission “Return of the River” – complete it so that water returns to the river. The entire area is now available for you to explore. Get on the boat and sail north to the next dock, turning left and swimming through the tunnel. Then climb through the gap and deal with the ogres. Look left to find a green bird.
Odin's Raven 38
- Location: Wells
Go to the east of the Plains and look for a huge arch leading to the descent to the desired area. Move forward and interact with the chain to open the second gate that blocks the river. Return to the boat and swim to the next shore. On the left side of the beach there will be another gate with a chain. Stand in front of it and look to the left – you will see a bird that can be speared down.
Midgard
Odin's Raven 39
- Location: Lake of the Nine
You can find it during or after completing the Word of Destiny story mission. Head northeast from Tyr's temple. The bird you need will sit on the wall on the right side of the passage to the Raiders' Lair. You will need to take into account the distance of the throw, that is, throw the ax a little higher than the raven (see the third screenshot below).
Odin's Raven 40
- Location: Lake of the Nine
You will be able to find it during or after completing the “Word of Destiny” story mission. Head south from Tyr's temple. You will notice an ice arch in front of the shrine. Walk under it and you will see a bird perched on a block of ice a little higher.
Odin's Raven 41
- Location: Abandoned Outpost
You will be able to find it during or after completing the “Word of Destiny” story mission. The desired location is located in the southwest of the Lake of Nine (the request “Curse of Sigrun” leads to it). After entering the lake, turn right and follow the narrow path from the pond. Then cross the ledge and you'll find the bird around the corner on the left.
Odin's Raven 42
- Location: Abandoned Outpost
You will be able to find it during or after completing the “Word of Destiny” story mission. Use the crane to fly over the abyss and get into the old ruins. The bird you want will sit on the top of the post on the left side.
Odin's Raven 43
- Location: Rowers
You will be able to find it during or after completing the “Word of Destiny” story mission. Head northeast of Tyr's temple and look for some wood fragments there. Cross them to get to the Coast of Nine. Next, crawl under a huge boulder and move to the fragments of the statue ahead. On the right side you can find vines, the destruction of which will give you access to the Rowers location.
Next, climb up the wall behind the chest with runes. Then climb even higher using the chain. Next, go to the giant chain on the right and you will see a green bird on the rock above.
Odin's Raven 44
- Location: Well of Urd
You can find it during or after completing the “Word of Destiny” story mission. Get to the place where you need to climb up, using the hook points and crushing the ice walls. After that, climb another rock, where a fork awaits you. Start climbing to the left, and from this ridge you will see a bird.
Helheim
Odin's Raven 45
- Location: Hel's Thresher
You can find it during or after completing the “Reunion” story mission. Move to the Mystic Gate of the indicated location and go forward a little – look up and you will see a bird floating in the air.
Odin's Raven 46
- Location: Hel's Thresher
You can find him during or after completing the “Reunion” story mission. After solving the problem with the huge wolf, you will need to solve the last riddle with the door and the mechanism. At this point look up and you will see a green bird.
If you plan to return here after the story, then move to the Mystic Gate, turn left, climb onto the ledge and go along the corridor a little forward.
Muspelheim
Odin's Raven 47
Location: Burning Rocks
You will be able to find him during or after completing the “Summon” story mission. After reaching the Mystic Gate of the specified area, jump down and go to the right. In the room with the legendary chest, turn right and you will see a bird in the hole.
Odin's Raven 48
- Location: Surt's Forge
You can find him during or after completing the “Summon” story mission. After meeting with Surt and regaining control of the hero, you will be able to find the bird ahead, across the road.
How to get the reward for Odin's ravens
Where to find legendary chests
Once you have found all 48 Odin's ravens, you can travel to Niflheim to collect your reward. Move to the Raven Tree location and move to the foot of the tree. There you will find 6 legendary chests containing the following items:
- Raven's Tears Armor Full Set
- Finger of Destruction (Rune Attack)
- Meteor Strike (Rune Attack)
- Tamur's Breath (Rune Attack)
How to find and defeat the Guardian
Immediately after opening all the chests, the Guardian will appear. You will need to deal with her for an additional reward and to complete the Eyes of Odin side quest. Move towards the Mystic Gate, and then turn right near Lund's shop.
You will enter the arena where the fight with the Keeper will take place. The witch herself is not very strong, however, she constantly summons minions to help herself, who will interfere with you all the time. Kill them if possible, but still focus on the boss. Note that she can be briefly stunned with Freya's arrows.
When the Keeper is below half health, she will disappear again, by summoning stronger minions. Deal with them quickly before the witch returns. After the boss's health drops to 25%, the ice dragon Pale will appear on the arena. You will have to defeat him for the main enemy to return.
The dragon doesn't have much health and is pretty easy to stun, but Most Ice Lizard attacks can be dodged with rolls. After killing the Pale One, finish off the Keeper. As a reward, you will receive the Niflheim Justice enchantment and the relic Forsbrand's Hilt.
