In Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ)An Interesting Day in the Cavern is a combat order and part of the quest chain “And Then the Starfall Came”. During it, you will need to locate data collection probes, and then solve “Synchronized Control” puzzles by correctly laying out routes. How to start the quest
During the quest “And Then the Starfall Came” you will need to escape from the operatives of “Section 6” and unknown enemies. During the escape, you will find yourself in a cavern, where you will encounter Miyabi. After a short conversation with her, you will decide to join forces to get out of the trap. After this, the corresponding order will immediately start.
The first puzzle “Synchronous Control”
Watch Miyabi destroy the Ethereals, then chat with her. The camera will then immediately point to the location of the first data collection probe. Approach it and interact with it to begin solving a new type of puzzle.
You will need to move your banba in different directions so that the rabbits on the other side pick up the carrots. To do this, we advise you to move in a circle clockwise and counterclockwise. The whole process is demonstrated in the gif below.
Collect two mini-trucks
After talking to Miyabi, go to the quest marker on the platform and wait for her to go down. Then turn left and open the gate by pressing the control panel. After that, you will take control of Miyabi herself – this is a main DD, capable of inflicting gigantic frost damage to enemies. We advise you to read our guide on her to learn how to play as this heroine.
Deal with the group of monsters behind the gate, and then go to the newly opened passage, behind which you will find the 2nd data collection probe– interact with it. The proxy will remain near the device, and you will need to clear the area. Before leaving this area, turn the camera to the right and you will see 1st missing mini-truck.
Then head to the quest marker in the main area, where you'll encounter several groups of Ethereals. You'll need to destroy them all while avoiding the explosive zones (marked with circles). Overall, this should be fairly easy, given your character's immense strength. Then watch the colorful cutscene with Miyabi's sword.
After talking to the fox, you'll take control of the Proxy again. Go down and turn right, then open the 2nd Missing Mini Truckon the left side. Keep following the marker and enter the purple portal.
Second puzzle “Synchronous Control”
The path ahead will be blocked by laser beams, so you will have to go around them on the left side, and then open the gate and interact with the 3rd data collection probe to start a new carrot collection puzzle.
To solve this puzzle, you will need to first send your Banba down the zig-zag path, then send it up, but not all the way, and return it to the bottom left corner. The gif below shows the entire process of solving the puzzle.
Collect two more mini-trucks
After solving the puzzle, you will switch back to Miyabi. Go upstairs and engage in a fight with a group of rebels. After dealing with them, interact with the control panel on the right, then go around the building on the left side and approach the second lever. To the left of it, you can find the 3rd missing mini-truck.
After interacting with both remotes, approach the laser barrier to take control of the Proxy again. Climb up, following the quest sign, and on the right before the next climb you will find the 4th mini-truck. Once you get up, press the lever and you'll be back to playing as Miyabi.
The Third Synchronous Control Riddle
Go down and to the left and deal with another group of rebels. Then the door will open and you'll see the last Data Collection Probe, with which you must immediately interact to start the next puzzle.
To get both carrots, you will need to perform circular movements. First, along the outer circle, and then along the inner one, without leaving the upper part of the field. A detailed process for solving the riddle is demonstrated in the gif below.
Then you have to deal with a group of enemies, including an elite robot. After destroying all the enemies, go up to Weisz, who will barely be able to stand on his feet. After talking to him, the order will be completed.
As a reward for completing this mission, you will receive 65 polychromes, 225 internot points, 23.5 thousand denni, 5 master disks for noise reduction, as well as various materials for pumping.
