In Honkai: Star Rail And on the eighth day is an exploration mission and part of the “In Our Time” quest chain. Walkthrough of the mission “And on the Eighth Day” in Honkai: Star Rail
How to start the task
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission in the line called “And the Sun Will Rise Again”. So open your quest log and start tracking the quest you want. If this does not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-login.
Talk to Black Swan and use the Clockwork
After waking up from your sleep, leave the room and chat with Black Swan and Acheron. You'll then need to meet up with the others in the lobby, but before that you can try using Clockwork on the nearby Captive of Dreams character. However, you will not be able to change Contentment to another emotion.
Now simply move to the Dream Hotel Lobby anchor and approach the Robin. Then the rest of your friends will appear. At the end of the conversation, Acheron will ask if you are ready. Say “yes” to begin reconnaissance of the area and the final battle.
How to defeat Sunday, the fruit of philosophy
In this dungeon you will have to fight a boss who is vulnerable to fire, electric and imaginary attacks, so take damage dealers of the corresponding elements. The battle will last 3 phases. We talked about it in detail in a separate guide, so here we will only indicate the main features of the battle. In addition, you will have to fight with a weakened version of the Great Septimius.
Note that you will definitely have to take a Pioneer (imaginary) into your squad. You can take a trial version if your own hero is not yet sufficiently upgraded. Then talk to Acheron again inside her dimension. You will find out her real name. Then watch the epic video.
Next, the boss battle will begin. The first phase will be exactly the same as in the quest “At the Top All Paths Converge.” You will need to penetrate the echoes' vulnerabilities as quickly as possible and destroy them in order to damage the Chorus of Balance and prevent it from using its most powerful attack.
In the second phase, Great Septimius will begin to impose a powerful shield on himself, which will be extremely difficult to break through. When your characters' health drops to almost zero, a cutscene will begin with the appearance of the Robin. Now you can summon her to deal enormous damage to the enemy, which will instantly destroy the boss’s shield. Keep hitting the enemy until you reduce his health bar to 0.
The third phase will begin, in which you will have to fight Sunday, the fruit of philosophy. You will need to remove his durability to get shields. They will be useful to you, because after 7 days (every action of your characters will count as 1 day) the boss will perform a powerful attack. To avoid taking damage, you need to break through at least 8-9 bars of the enemy's fortitude.
Don't forget to call for the Robin's strike to deal damage to the boss. When you finally defeat him, a series of cutscenes will begin. This will bring the task to an end. As a reward, you will receive the achievement “And finally, we will rise from sleep,” as well as 1100 Mastery points, 140 star jades, 120 credits, a shadow of Harmony, a music record, 10 lost crystals and 550 hour credits.
