Completing the quest “You will not return to dust” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
The beginning of the quest
A tragedy occurred at night, a serious conversation will take place in the morning. As a result of the fire, two corpses were found. We ask –“How did they die?” After all, if they were not burned, it means they died before the fire.

Benedict will confirm that there are no burns or signs of suffocation on the corpses. He will also say that they were brought there for ablution. Specifywho told him about the signs of illness? It turns out that the abbot, having learned about the slightest signs of illness in these poor fellows, ordered the corpses to be locked in the hop warehouse to prevent the spread. Albicus will be indignant at this, to whom no one reported this, and was not given the opportunity to examine the dead.
Afterwards, Henry will ask who pulled them out?
This was done by Eliash, who managed to get the corpses before the building was engulfed in fire. Suspicion may fall on him, but Benedict will deny Eliash's involvement. Afterwards he will leave the office and go to the patients.
Quite a few shocking events have happened over the past 24 hours: a robbery, a fire, corpses. The second healer will assume that someone is intimidating. Ask – “Are you thinking of leaving?”.

He will refuse to leave the district, because the sick need emergency help, and will ask how Henry will act. Next, we simply tell you our plan of action. First we say that we willsearch the barn.

Then we select a remark – “I will question the witnesses.”

The doctor will show a desire to do this on his own in order to conduct a more accurate diagnosis. But this istoo dangerous, and Henry can handle it on his own.

Next there will be a selection with checks. The main thing here is not to choose the first option, as it will reduce your reputation. Ideally, use the last option – “You yourself said that this is important.”.

Henry will give several arguments why he should inspect the corpses. The doctor will agree. Then ask – “What exactly should I look for?” contact Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: how to find a saboteur” />
Inspect the burnt bodies
We head to the green marker “A”. The bodies will lie in a closed barn. At the same time, remember that the territory of the monastery is forbidden for us, which means that any guard who notices Henry will hasten to send him away.
There will be one guard standing at the spot near the gate. You can sneak up on him from behind and stun him. We make sure to hide the body, otherwise there will be problems. Afterwards we break the lock and go to the bodies.

But You can also go around the building and try to pick the very difficult lock on the other gate.

There are two dead people lying inside. Let's examine the youngest one first.

First of all, we examine the head. If you have enough glasses, then tryopen your mouth. Then it will become clear that there was profuse vomiting, just like that confessor Stefan who died of illness.

After inspect the hair it will be covered with some kind of white coating. Henry decides to taste it and realizes that it is flour.
Learning hands. Again, if you have enough glasses, then be sure to look at the bruises – it turns out that they are from cups that were used to treat or relieve pain.
If examine the palms with fingersthen Henry will understand that this is a simple worker. Just recently they talked about the disappearance of two workers.

Next inspect the body. Interestingly, there are abrasions only on the back of the body – on the back and legs. This means they dragged him already dead. We will also notice bruising – another symptom of the disease.
Now let's move on to the old man. First of all, we examine the head, it will be pierced. Perhaps he did not die from illness. Next, try using scholarship by choosing the option – “Where does such a wound come from?”. If the check is successful, Henry will assume that the wound is very neat and looks like it was done by doctors in a hospital for medical reasons.

Moving on to the hands. If you successfully pass the test, Henry will pay attention to his clenched, numb fists. It will become clear that he definitely died before the fire.

When inspecting the body we notice that the old man’s arms and back are covered in abrasions, and some kind of thorn sticks out of one wound. Most likely, he was dragged dead through the garden or bushes. On the chest and neck we will notice red spots – exactly the same ones were on Stefan, which means the old man was also infected.
At the end we summarize. Both died before the fire; no one killed them. They died from the disease. Apparently, the doctors tried to get them back on their feet, although not in the most humane way. But someone was dragging them along the ground to the burnt barn. We need to find out where they were taken from.
Inspect the fire site
Now we go to the fire site – mark “B”. There is nothing left of the barn.

On the right side of the wall we will notice traces of oil – it will immediately become clear that this was arson.

There will be a torch lying in the drain. Someone covered their tracks poorly, hoping that everything here would burn to the ground.

U The gate through which we entered here will be abottle of wine.
Interview the witness
The last task remains – talk with Eliash. We go into the monastery and go up to the second floor to the monks’ chambers. There, talk to whoever you meet first to find out where Eliash is.

Let's find out that he is not here. One of the monks will tell you that he saw Eliash in the cellar.

We go back downstairs and go through the dining area to the kitchen.

We turn left again andgo down into the cellar.

At the bottom we pass left again and go to the first fork. There we open the first door and go out to the large barrels where Eliash will stand.

We approach and ask what he is doing here. It turns out that after the events involving the corpses and the fire, he decided to hide from everyone and drown his feelings in alcohol.

After Let's start the interrogation. The first question is“What were you doing outside at night?” He will answer that he simply couldn’t sleep and decided to take a walk, and that’s when he noticed the fire that had started.

Should we believe his words? No. Therefore, we are trying to pass the test –“A chance, then?” If successful, Eliash will crack and say that he went to the lake where he hides the booze.

Next, we’ll find out if he saw anyone else. But, unfortunately, except for the dog that was tearing his vocal cords to the raging fire, he did not notice anyone. Then we ask what he did after the fire – there is nothing interesting here, he pulled out the bodies, then the guards and other monks arrived.
Afterwards we ask about the corpses. Ask – “Do you know who they are?”

Then share the results of the inspection. First of all, we notify about infection. This will scare Eliash, but our reputation will grow.

When you ask where does the flour in your hair come from, then he will talk about the flour barn that is nearby. The most interesting question is about scratches on the backs. Eliash will say that he carried corpses on his back (like a sack of potatoes). But where did the abrasions on their bodies come from then? Everything indicates that someone brought these dead bodies into this barn on purpose.
At the end, support the poor fellow by answering him – “You showed yourself heroically.”

Having collected all the information that could be found on this incident, we go to the next marker.
Conduct an inquiry
We return to the burnt barn. On the left we open a very complex lock and examine the new territory. On the right we will see a trace of corpses being dragged here.

We run along the drain to the end and look around again. We continue our path through the sewers.

Let's go out to the rose bushes – now it’s clear where the old man got such abrasions.

Nearby on the road we will see where the trail leads – straight to the gate.

She will locked, and hacking won't help, the lock is just jammed. To the right is a hut with an open attic through which you can overcome the obstacle.

Deep tracks will lead to the herbalist's house. Opening the door slightly will trigger a cutscene. Inside, Henry will hear two people talking.

It turns out that Denek tried to force the herbalist to do the work of doctors, even sneaking him books from the monastery library. But the disease turned out to be stronger than the efforts of an ordinary herbalist, which is why he, fearing the spread of the disease, decided to burn the infected corpses.
Hindro will intervene in the conversation, but will not have time to save the herbalist. A fight with Denek will begin.

Kill Denek and return to the herbalist. Before his death, you will be able to ask him a couple of pressing questions:
- Why did you set the barn on fire?
- Did you try to treat them?
- Now let’s pray.

In the conversation he will say that Zachariash gave all the orders. Yes, the same second doctor who pretends to be Albicus’s friend.

Having found out the truth, we return to the infirmary. In the room, Zachariash will drink with Albicus. Henry will not stand on ceremony and will immediately attack the doctor.

Soon Albicus will fall asleep himself. Zacharias poisoned him, although not to death. Further in the dialogue you can choose any answer options. As a result, we will find out that Zacharias has an antidote, but he will give it only on the condition that we bring him documents on the treatment of King Wenceslas and the relic of the knight Bavor.
This completes the quest “And you will not return to dust” in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and the next one will begin – “The Hour of Reckoning.”
