In Honkai: Star Rail, “Clockwork Mechanism: Arturo” is a hidden side quest that can be found on the Origami Academy grounds. Following the recent incident with the memetic virus, the Academy's leadership is seriously concerned about the attendance and attitude of some students. Help Mr. Arturo, the acting rector, fix the emote dial, and then talk to his charges.
In this guide, we will tell you how to start and complete the mission “Clockwork: Arturo” in HSR, as well as fulfill the conditions for opening two hidden achievements “Let your dreams be bright and your ideals be free” and “Psycho-Pass”.
Completing the quest “Clockwork: Arturo” in HSR
To find Mr. Arturo and begin the side quest “Clockwork Mechanism: Arturo”, you must have completed the entire story quest “Banana Mayhem: Battles Without Ninja and Mercy”, as well as launched the introductory part of the event “Musical Hunt: Ninja Scroll” and completed at least the stage “Meet the Band and Give It a Name” (otherwise in the Principal's Office won't be).
Then head to the north of the training center (Glaux Statue anchor) and enter the principal's office, then approach the elderly Golovian and start a dialogue with him.
Mr. Arturo has not yet recovered from the incident with the memetic virus and intends to seriously tighten the rules of the academy – this is the only way, in his opinion, to avoid similar incidents. Since the rector clearly has a problem with emotions, during the dialogue we select the answer “Start the Clockwork Mechanism“, and in the new window we click “Start the Emotion Dial” (this will require one gear of “Peace”).
After recovering a little, the Principal asks the Pathfinder to talk to his three wayward students: Harris, Chad, and Sean. Arturo passes on words of advice to each of them, and hopes that we can reach the students and help them realize their mistakes.
Pass the message to Harrison
The first person the principal asked to talk to was Harrison. The elderly man is located near the “Culture Corridor” anchor in the east of the academy. Start a conversation, and when choosing an answer, click “The principal asked me to tell you…” (answer 2).
Mr. Arturo wants Harrison to not waste his life, as the old man has been an honorary repeater for a long time. However, Harrison has his own reasons for not leaving the safe confines of his beloved academy, which he will ask you to pass on to his mentor.

Next student, Chad, is located near the meeting place with Harrison, at the entrance to the nearest shopping alley (anchor “Culture Corridor”). Also start a conversation, and during the selection of the line click “The rector asked me to tell you...” (answer 2).
Chad calls himself the local Party King, so the rector thinks that the student has gotten carried away and forgotten about his aspirations. But the young man clearly understands the current situation in Penakonia, and is also unable to adapt to the high competition in more “serious” professions. Chad sees prospects in the entertainment industry and considers it his only strong point, so he will not deviate from the chosen path, although he is grateful to the rector for training and guidance.
Pass the message to Sean
The last student, named Sean, is standing to the west of the Statue of Glaux, near the entrance to the Principal's office. Enter into a dialogue with the young Golovian and pass on Arturo's instructions to him by choosing the response “The Principal asked me to pass on to you…” (response 2).
Sean intends to accept the KMM's offer to leave Penakonia, but the rector encourages his protégé not to abandon his home planet and join the Lucernes. The young man takes the instructions negatively and just wants to graduate in peace and go conquer the universe.
Return to the rector's office

After delivering all the messages to the students, run to the passage to the rector's office. Before entering, Professor Filin will stop us and ask us to bring a pen and paper to write down a letter for Mr. Arturo – we agree and receive a message that will be useful in the last conversation with the current rector.
Give the letter to Mr. Arturo
Proceed to the Principal's Office and report to Mr. Arturo on the results of your communication with the three students, Harris, Chad, and Sean.
The rector receives answers from three students and understands that he can no longer influence their choice. He is still confident that a strict regime will benefit the academy. By the end of the conversation, we give Arturo a letter from Professor Filin, after which the man comes to his senses a little and promises to think everything over carefully before making a decision – this is where the assignment comes to an end.
For completing the quest “Clockwork Mechanism: Arturo”, the player receives 10 Star Jade, 3 Purple Magazines for leveling up characters, 21 thousand credits, 180 Hour Credits, and the “Takeoff at Dusk” record, as well as the achievement “Let your dreams be bright and your ideals be free” (+5 Jade).
If you have found and configured all the emote dials by the end of the mission, you will also be awarded the achievement “Psycho-Pass” (+5 jade) – both new achievements can be collected in the collection “Our Memories”.
