Bathing in hot water in Genshin Impact is a daily quest in Natlan in which you need to help Pele Nui cleanse the hot springs. In this guide, we will explain how to complete both versions of the quest, by luring a lazy Koholasaurus or by getting rid of trash in a pond.

How to start
Daily quests in Natlan are unlocked after the mini-quest “Onward to Blazing Adventure!” To get the desired task faster, we recommend that you select the Pyro region as a priority in your Traveler's Guide.
Talk to Pele Nui
Head to the northeastern part of the Folk of the Springs tribe. There, find Pele standing by one of the hot springs.
The girl will complain that the baby Koholasaurus does not want to get out of the pond and interferes with her cleaning. Offer her your help and choose one of two options – the further development of the task depends on this.
Try talking to the baby Koholasaurus
If you decide to lure the naughty Koholasaurus, go a little south and try to talk to it. You won't be able to grab it right away, so first stroke its head or belly, as Pele advised. After that, the baby will calm down, and you can lure it to the shore.
Collect the trash
If you decide to help the girl clean the source, go to the pond a little to the west and collect some balls and swimming rings.
Return to Pele Nui
After completing any of the tasks, return to the place where you met Pele and talk to her again to complete the quest.
Rewards
Completing the daily will give you standard rewards depending on your level:
- 10 Primogems
- 175-250 XP
- 20-60 Friendship XP
- 1950-6575 Mora
- 1-4 Superior Enhancement Ore
- 0-4 Magic Ore
Unfortunately, there is no achievement for the task even after completing both versions of the quest.
