In Genshin Impact, Behind the Smoke and Mirrors is the third chapter of the fifth volume of the main storyline, in which you will have to meet Shilonen, find clues, deal with a lot of enemies, examine traces, help the caravan and explore the Fatui camp. How to start the quest “Behind the Smoke and Mirrors”
Before you can take on this quest, you will need to meet certain conditions, namely:
- Achieve at least Adventure Rank 40 (or Adventure Rank 28 if you use the quick start feature). We have some tips on how to increase this in a separate article.
- Complete the Archon quest “The Black Stone Buried Under the White,” which is the previous part of the chain.
Once you have completed all the requirements above, you should automatically receive the required mission. It will be added to your quest log – open it by pressing the “J” key, then select the quest and start tracking it. If for some reason this did not happen, then try logging out of your account, wait 20-30 minutes and re-enter the game.
