In Genshin Impact, the best decks for Sacred Summon of the Seven will make it much easier for you to duel with open-world NPCs, Cat's Tail Tavern guests, playable characters, and other players. In this guide, you will learn how decks are built, what cards to put in them, and how to play them.
Note that if you are interested in information about the effects of action cards, character card skills and how to get them, then we advise you to read our guide to all the cards in the game.
Deck Building Instructions
To interact with the deck, you will need to use the Card Box, which can be obtained during the quest “Come to play the Holy Call of the Seven” and found in the inventory in the “Tools” section. With a gadget selected, click on the “Deck” inscription to open the appropriate menu.
Here you will see the decks you have and, if you wish, you can create new ones using empty cells (new slots are opened by leveling up the player). The first deck will be generated automatically during the tutorial, but you can edit it if you want – just click on the first cell.
Each deck must include 3 character cards and 30 action cards. You can easily move between sections by clicking on the top icons. To complete the deck, simply drag the cards you need from the bottom row to the top. To view detailed information about a card, just click on it once.
When the number of cards in your chest exceeds several dozen, we advise you to use the “Filter” (button in the lower left corner of the screen) to search for them. In it, you can specify the type, cost, marks and other parameters of the cards you are looking for, so that the game will instantly show them to you.
Note that when viewing detailed information about a particular action card, you can immediately purchase its duplicate, without having to go to the card store. As usual, you will have to spend a certain amount of lucky coins.
Additional Features
If you want to rename a deck, do a quick look at it, or copy it by creating a second stack of the same cards, you can use the additional options provided in the deck selection menu – just click on the icon with three dots.
In addition, with the help of these functions you can also customize the appearance of the game board (only works in some duels) and card backs. Of course, this does not affect the gameplay in any way. Plus, you can choose an active deck (automatically selected before the start of the game) or delete an unwanted one.

S | Not defined yet |
A | Total Overload< /p> Freeze Mona's Adventures in Li Yue Low-budget Stimulation Super Conduit and Quick Change < p> Dispelling and helpers |
B | Home Hydro and Crystal Supports trailblazers |
Rating explanation:
- S – selected based on the collected metadata on the effectiveness of decks in PvP matches. Considering that the TCG was released relatively recently, the information on decks is still incomplete, so there are no teams with such a rating (it will certainly include some decks from A-rank). In theory, we are talking about decks with which you can easily defeat most NPCs and other Travelers, unless of course Lady Luck turns her back on you completely.
- A – This includes decks that are almost on par with higher level decks or even outperform them when played with certain NPCs. However, they sometimes lack some extremely useful cards or can be less versatile than S-Packs.
- B – This category includes decks that can perform well against certain NPCs and players, but to win you will need to make a little more effort. Plus, they depend more on your luck.
Next, we will take a detailed look at each deck individually, identifying the cards present in them, explaining the tactics of playing for them, studying their strengths and weaknesses, and also showing who they work best against. Note that information about all the cards and how to get them can be found in our other guide.

The strengths of this deck include:
- A decent option that will allow you to win your first game duels.
- Has a strong synergy and involves a playstyle based on frequent character changes.
- Allows you to apply a Pyro or Cryo status to all enemies with using Scatter, which makes it easy to create a Melt reaction.
If we consider its disadvantages, then the most serious of them is the presence of a large number of action cards that are absolutely useless for your characters, which is why they are only suitable for Elemental Harmonization. So whenever you get a chance, swap those cards for useful artifacts and weapons.

Keiya | Sucrose | Sucrose will apply Cryo status to inactive enemy characters. |
Dilyuk | Keiya | Dilyuk will be able to create the Melt reaction after inflicting a Cryo effect on enemies with Keiya's attacks or Dispel Sucrose. |
Game tactics
Start the duel with Keii, who must apply Cryo to the first opponent. You will need at least 3 Cryo dice for Keii to use his elemental skill and 1 Anemo dice for Sucrose. You'll be very lucky if you have a Change of Duty card or Dawn Distillery in your opening hand.
After dealing Cryo damage to the first enemy, switch to Sucrose. With it, you just need to perform any attack to create a Dispel and transfer the Cryo effect to all enemies. This will become your main two-step combo.
If the enemy has learned your intentions and changed the active character, then try to use Sucrose's elemental skill, to bring back an enemy hero with a cryo effect.
Now that all enemies have the Cryo status, you can deal massive damage to them by creating the Melt reaction with Diluc. Then you can freely switch between characters to perform the main combo.
If possible, use a Sucrose Elemental Burst on enemies with Cryo effect, so that in the final phase the helper will deal Cryo damage to enemies, which will make it easier for you to create the Melt reaction after switching to Diluka.
We add that Keii's ult allows you to create 3 icicles that are transferred to the active character and attack the enemy with each character change. In combination with the Dawn Distillery and Change of Duty, you will be able to deal Cryo damage and apply the appropriate status to them completely free of charge, which, again, will simplify the creation of reactions.
Against whom to use the deck
The list below shows NPCs that are vulnerable to this deck, which means it will be relatively easy for you to defeat them:
- Sven
- Eileen
- Marjorie
- Timmy
- Wagner
- Blanche
- Timaeus
- Patton< /li>
- Sucrose
- Fischl
This deck is pretty average in every way. However, she performs quite well against decks that focus on control or long-term preparation, as she is able to quickly deal combo damage.
How to counter this deck
Since this deck is still needs some preparation to deal maximum damage, decks with an aggressive and rushing (quickly implement damage) playstyle work well against her, aimed at creating constant pressure that discourages the opponent from creating combos.
At the same time, it should be remembered that it is Dilyuk who causes the main damage in this deck, so try to destroy him first. After that, the enemy will not be able to deal much damage to you.

To strengths of this deck include:
- Allows you to break enemy combos and deal significant damage at the same time.
- Deals large damage to several cards at once.
- Allows you to apply Pyro and Electro Infusion.
- Allows you to receive buffs from Electro Resonance.
- Extremely strong in the mid and end game.
If we consider its disadvantages, then they include:
- Weak against rushing decks.
- Losing Xiang Ling deprives the player of combo attacks.
- Strong relies on a good set of action cards and elemental dice at the start of the game.
- Combos can be interrupted by decks that force an active character change.
- Weak to damage from elemental explosions.
Basic card combos
< tr>
First card | Second map | Result |
---|---|---|
Xiang Ling | High Voltage | Together with Star Omens, allows Xiang Ling to cast her ult early. |
Xiang Ling | Star-Pecking Raven | When combined with Fire Whirl, allows Fischl to generate Overload, even with normal attacks. |
Xiang Ling | Crane after returning | Allows you to quickly switch to Ke Qing after using Fire Whirl if Thunder Stiletto is available. |
Xiang Ling | Celestial Repentance | When combined with Fire Whirl, allows Ke Qing to generate Overload, even with normal attacks. |
Xiang Ling | Crown of the Exile x2 | Infuse your inactive characters with energy after casting Firevortex, allowing Ke Qing and Fischl to use theirs earlier elemental explosions. |
Game tactics
Much depends on the cards in the opening hand. It is desirable that there were cards in it that could either increase the number of your dice or increase energy so that you can use the elemental burst of Xiang Ling as soon as possible. Ideally, you will only summon Gobu once to charge up your ult and summon Fire Cyclone on round 1 or 2.
After Fire Cyclone spawns, make sure your turn ends on Ke Qing to cast Star Omens on the next move using the Crane after returning. You can also use Give it to me! or Katerina at the start of the turn.
Combine Fire Whirl with Electro Attacks. After activating Firestorm, switch to Fischl or Ke Qing for Electro damage. Both normal attacks can deal Electro damage depending on the cards used.
If you attack an enemy that already has a Pyro effect, Flameburst will hit the next enemy on the board, allowing you to perform another Overload combo next turn.
After landing a few Overload attacks, it will be time to use the burst elemental Fischl or Ke Qing – this will most likely result in the death of at least one active or inactive enemy character if he did not use healing cards.
If possible, put on any of the Electro characters the Crown of the Exile, to increase Xiang Ling's energy, which will help her with the creation of a new Fire Whirl.
After completing the cycle with an explosion of the character's Electro element, you will need to start it from the very beginning. Xiang Ling will most likely have around 5-6 HP, so switching to her without preparation will most likely result in her death.
Use Mondstadt Pancakes to keep her alive longer, allowing you to summon Gobu, gain +1 energy and summon another Firestorm. You can also try to save two energy boost cards so you can use your ult right away. Then attack enemies with Overload again until you kill them all.
Whom to use against
She performs well against decks like those used by Xiang Ling, Genie, and Noelle. We are talking about stacks dependent on healing, shields, or disrupting the enemy’s combo.
Shields are almost useless against this deck due to Piercing damage dealt by Fischl and Ke Qing, and healing can't restore as many health points as Overload.
This deck is also great against Freeze or decks with a long preparation stage. Forcibly changing the enemy's active character will prevent them from performing multi-stage combos.
How to counter this deck
Decks with Anemo characters can be a problem for this triad. If the player doesn't have the ability to summon Gobu and Fireball, their damage will be greatly reduced.
This deck can be countered with a similar Overload stack, as you will be able to regularly change the active enemy fighter without letting him to buff Electro characters with the Firestorm.

The strengths of this deck include:
- Only 2 elements are important, which makes it a little easier collecting the necessary dice.
- With the help of permanent Freeze, you can prevent the enemy from using your characters.
- Mona is elusive thanks to her passive and can protect allies, reducing the damage they receive.
If we consider her minuses , then they include:
- It can take a lot of time to build a deck, since all 3 characters can only be obtained by inviting heroes to a duel using special letters.
- This deck has no shields or healing abilities, and focuses all of its power on stunning enemy cards by freezing them.
- Pyro or physical attacks can break the Freeze, so players who act as aggressively as possible may not feel the stopping deck strength.
Basic card combos
First card | Second map | Result |
---|---|---|
Mona | Quick Knitting | Allows the Phantom to live one round longer. |
Gan Yu | The best companion ever! | Easier to collect enough dice to use the very expensive normal attack Frostbolt Flower (5 Cryo dice). |
Mona | Crane after returning | Allows you to quickly switch from Mona to another character. If it turned out to be Ayaka, then she will immediately receive a Cryo infusion. |
Game Tactics
If we consider this team from the point of view of the mechanics familiar to the game, then Gan Yu and Mona are a kind of sub-DD, while Ayaka acts as a main-DD and the main reason why a permanent freeze is possible at all.
< p>The main point of this deck is to regularly switch between Mona and one of the two Cryo characters, while using their elemental skills or elemental explosions to impose the appropriate statuses on enemies.
Ayaka, by the way, receives Cryo infusion when he becomes an active character, so he can deal Cryo damage even with his normal attacks, which makes it much easier to create Freeze.
Action cards contribute to this play style as much as possible, therefore they are aimed at obtaining additional energy, strengthening heroes, reducing costs when changing characters and getting more dice.
Whom to use the deck against
Because The main strength of this deck is to break the opponent's combo, it is best used against the following NPCs found in the open world: Marjorie, Wagner and Patton. Playing with them is also a good way to get to know this deck better and make changes to it if necessary, depending on your own preferences.
When it comes to invite duels, we recommend picking this deck up against Collea, who is a surprisingly difficult opponent, as her Burning and Budding reactions are very hard to control. With Freeze, you can prevent her from using such combos.
This deck is also suitable for countering Barbara. By the way, her character card can be easily defeated by Cryo heroes alone, since when using an elemental skill, she imposes Hydro status on herself.
In general, this deck is good against teams that accelerate for a long time, switching to an aggressive style of play only closer to the middle of the match. It prevents the enemy from imposing the desired statuses on your characters and disrupts combos, keeping enemy cards in a permanent freeze.
How to counter this deck
The Freeze deck deals relatively little damage, so if you have good defensive characters like Noelle and Ning Guang, you can live long enough to kill Mona, thereby depriving your opponent of reactions.
< img class="aligncenter" src="/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/luchshie-kolody-dlja-svjashhennogo-prizyva-semeryh-v-genshin-impact-d58dd09.jpg" alt="Best Decks for Holy Call seven in Genshin Impact" />
Another way to deal with the Freeze is to kill the opponent's characters as soon as possible, taking powerful damage dealers into the squad. These include Dilyuk and Chun Yun, who have the strongest elemental explosions in the card game, dealing 8 and 7 damage respectively. When creating reactions, they can instantly kill an enemy hero.

The strengths of this deck include:
- A properly prepared combo based on the explosion of the elements of Chun Yun can deal massive damage, sometimes enough to kill one character with full health.
- Regularly creating the Steam reaction thanks to the corresponding elemental skills of Mona and Xiang Ling will significantly cut the health of enemy heroes, which will make them easier to kill.
If we consider its disadvantages, then they include: p>
- It takes a lot of time and luck to pull off the right combo that deals massive damage.
- The enemy can easily change their active character to protect them from a dangerous combo.

Xiang Ling | Chun Yun | Like in the main game, these characters interact well with each other. Chun Yun's skill imbues Cryo with normal attacks – combine this with Xiang Ling's Elemental Burst, which empowers Pyro's strikes with the elemental, and you can permanently trigger the Melt reaction. |
Mona | Crane after returning | Mona's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst are best used in tandem with a different elemental character to instantly trigger a Hydro-based reaction. This action card makes it instantly inactive after casting an ability. |
Game Tactics
Mona and Xiang Ling in this deck are characters that deal elemental damage out of the field and impose the desired statuses on enemies. Chun Yun is the main attacking force, capable of inflicting gigantic damage thanks to the multipliers from elemental reactions. However, it will take you a long time to set up combos.
The action cards shown above help you create the necessary reactions by gaining additional energy charges, lowering costs, and increasing the number of dice needed. Equipment and food cards will help increase Chun Yun's damage even further.
Whom to use the deck against
This deck is a good example of a popular phrase from other TCGs: any deck can beat any other deck on a lucky day. The damage that character cards can deal with a properly set up combo allows this team to beat just about any deck, from simple Adventure Matches to tough Duels.
When it comes to character matches, we recommend using this deck against Kaya, Fischl, and Mona. The fact is that their style of play is quite passive, which will allow you to relatively calmly build the desired reactions. In some cases, even a normal attack with Cryo Infusion will be able to deal 9 damage to the enemy at a time.
Overall, this deck is great for fighting passive defensive decks that like to deal damage over time. The more time the enemy gives you to prepare, the harder you can hit him after all the necessary conditions are met. Burn/Bud and Dispel decks can have serious problems with this build.
How to counter this deck
Freeze can stun any character card, forcing the player to switch to another character. Therefore, decks that can constantly freeze the opponent's fighters can effectively counter this team. Just don't let her perform her killer combo.
As we mentioned earlier, this deck needs time to generate the right reactions. Therefore, you can slowly sap health from inactive characters with piercing damage and Superconductor (use a combination of Ke Qing and Gan Yu). By the time the reserve fighters become active heroes, their health will most likely drop to 5-6 units, which will allow you to quickly deal with them.
You can pretty easily figure out when the enemy plans to hold the final attack for massive damage. Therefore, using Overload or the skills of Djinn and Sucrose, you can try to force change the enemy active character, preventing the opponent from performing a combo.
