Arlathan Forestin Dragon Age: The Veilguardis full of various riddles and puzzles. While exploring this area, you will come across a broken bridge in the location of the same name, having restored it, you will be able to pave a shortcut for further quests.

How to solve the puzzle with the Broken Bridge in Arlathan Forest
You can get to the bridge from the fast travel in the locationJagged Ruins. Follow it to the east until you come across a passage closedmagical barrier.
Activate the First Projector
To remove the barrier, remove the blue crystal from the pedestal next to the passage and continue along the bridge with it. Turn left, as shown in the screenshot, and place the energy crystal on the pedestal.
Walk along the resulting bridge to the first projectorand turn its beam to the crystal located on the opposite side of the bridge. This way you will be able to activate the second projector for a while.
Activate the Second Projector
Return to the bridge and move the blue crystal to the pedestal opposite. The resulting bridge will block the first beam and the second projector will be deactivated again.
Follow the bridge up and make your way by pushing the log onto the other side of the cliff. Go to the main bridge and remove the energy crystal from the pedestal.
The energy will flow to the second projector again, and you will be able to direct it by returning to it along the previously laid path. Turn the beam to the crystal opposite and return to the bridge.
Restore the Bridge
To proceed further, you need to remove another magical barrier by removing the crystal that powers it. Take it with you and place it on the pedestal in the southeastparts of the bridge.
Once the crystal is in place, the bridge will be restored and a shortcut to the location will open, where you can receive the secondary quest“Magic of the Ancients”.
