In Genshin Impact, “Cacophony of Groans” is a direct continuation of the mission “Weak Signals” and the penultimate stage of a large line of quests for the reputation of the Children of Echoes, “Melodic Singing”. Tlasoli managed to hide with her daughter in an old underground workshop. The heroes need to hurry and catch up with the desperate mother, who is clearly trying to harm an innocent child.
This guide will help you complete the quest “Cacophony of Moans”: learn how to find the workshop, catch up with Tlazoli, and activate the controllers after the cart goes to the station.
Walkthrough of the mission “Cacophony of Moans”
To begin the walkthrough of this mission, complete the two previous stages: “Threadlike Whispers” and “Faint Signals”.
Catch up with Tlasoli
After Tlasoli's escape, the heroes and Shilonen head to the Underground Workshop, a large complex of mines where the former Master of Ancient Names once worked. This quest dungeon is located in a cliff north of the entrance to Tlasoli's house.
To explore the dungeon, it is recommended to take a hero with a geo element into the squad, but you can choose any pack – a trial Shilonen will join the team for the duration of the exploration. Once in the workshop, the heroes will find a fully functioning complex, which means that Tlasoli has long been deceiving her fellow tribesmen and hatching some kind of plan. Deal with a bunch of dubious people guarding a rich chest in front of the entrance and continue the exploration.
For convenience, we will divide the study of the dungeon into sections with autosave.
Rebirth Gate 1
After dealing with the bandits, move to teleporter, with the help of which the Children of Echo can move across the solid rocks of phlogiston.Use Shilonen to enter the breed and automatically teleport to the next quest marker.
In the next section, you need to go down to the ledge near the wall, activate E-Shikul Shilonenand roller skate on the phlogiston rock. You can speed up the movement process by pressing jump or sprint on the right mouse button.
Get to the area with the second wall teleporter, get to it on Shilonen rollers and enter the phlogiston rock – the teleporter will automatically direct the heroine to the far edge of the wall. It remains to fly to the area with a high vertical crystal, located behind the lava flow. Use the heroine's Geo elemental skill to climb amber cliffs and overcome vertical distances.
If your character falls to the bottom of the dungeon, find a ramp made of phlogiston rock adjacent to the ground, put Shilonen on the rollers, and roll up.
Rebirth Gate 2
After climbing the crystal, the heroes will come across a small group of Tlasoli's assistants – defeat the enemies and move to the next amber wall, before the descent to which there is an ordinary chest. Be careful not to hit the moving fire beams. After flying forward, roll up on the rollers.
Move to the top of the dungeon, and when you reach the wooden platform in front of the hanging crystal, use Shilonen's E again and roll up, avoiding the burning rays around the phlogiston. Jump across to the passage and run left to the hole that leads to an autosave section.
Respawn Gate 3
Having reached the room with the transport system and having defeated the opponents guarding the rich chest, go to the lever in front of the cauldrons with lava – by activating it, the heroes will be able to rise and overcome part of the dungeon along the route of the cart.
Trial with a cart and controllers
After activating the controller and launching the carts, immediately run to the teleport and use Shilonen to go up. You will have a mini-test in which you need to manage to switch the levers after the cart enters the nearest station. We recorded the entire process of passing on the video below:
You need to switch two controllers in timeand move along the walls of phlogiston, bypassing two sections.
When the cart crosses the last section, go down to the right side of the dungeon and run forward to the ritual site.
The heroes caught up with Tlasoli, but the woman has no intention of stopping what she has started. Now, at stake in the experiment are not only the memories of the tribe's inhabitants, but also the life of an innocent child who was never the real Nechka. Shilonen, as a true master of ancient names, saves the girl and takes her away from her grief-stricken “mother”.
Take a break with Shilonen
After leaving the dungeon, go to the place rest – on the edge of the cliff south of the Pyro Archon statue. Shilonen tied up the criminal in her own home and needs mental and physical rest. Now the girl is safe and can finally call herself by her real name – Nepeka. Until the situation is resolved, Shilonen promises to take care of the baby and gives her jewelry with a name engraving.
