Each of them has its own characteristics and parameters, its own “character” and habitats. At the beginning of the game, the “Encyclopedia of Fires” (the list of all creatures) is empty, and it is quite difficult to figure out which Fires are the most useful.

Catching Pals in Palworld
How to use the Pal Sphere
To catch the Pal you like, you need to reduce his health to a minimum. Then press “Q” and aim at the creature. By holding the button, you can see the chance of catching.
Then aim at the Pal and release the button. The lower the creature's health, the higher the chance of its capture.
As a rule, Pals are caught most successfully when their HP is approximately less than 30%. You can increase this chance in several ways:
- Sneak up.
- Lure into a trap.
You can take risks and catch Pals without reducing their health or reducing it slightly. But remember that after Pal pops out of the Pal Sphere, the ball will disappear and you will have to throw a new one.
In total, up to five Pals can travel with you. If all the cells for your companions are filled, then the caught Pals are automatically sent to the base in the “Container for Pals.”
How to catch Pals more efficiently
Some Pals, such as Lifmanka, are not so easy to catch. He does not engage in battle, but runs away, and it is quite difficult to catch him without driving him into a corner or trap. For such cases, early in the game there is a bow that will allow you to reduce Pal's health at a distance.
Over time, catching higher-level Pals with a regular “Pal-sphere” will become more and more difficult. In this case, the “Megasphere” will come in handy, which you can find in chests scattered around the world. And it can only be made from the 14th technology level.
How to summon a captured Pal
You can only summon one Pal. Press the “E” key and select the location where you want to summon Pal.
To remove it, also press the “E” key.
How to care for and heal Pals
Your Pals have several scales responsible for their condition.
Health points and satiety< /h3>
Having been injured in battle, Pal heals on his own, but rather slowly. Feeding Pal will help speed up this process. Your pets must be fed, otherwise they will simply stop working. You can do this:
- Through your inventory. Only Pals traveling with you can be fed this way. Select the item you want to feed Pal and right-click. You will see a menu of targets to apply.
- Through the quick access menu on the “4” key. Select “Feed”.
Sanity
If Pal works at the base for a long time and does not rest (or he has no place to rest), then his Sanity level decreases. This means that Pal will work worse and worse.
You can keep Pals in optimal condition by hand feeding, as described above, or using a feeder. Pals come to it on their own, but you need to regularly replenish it with food.
< h3>Disease
This is Pal’s negative state, which affects his performance. All types of diseases are treated with medicines that are prepared at the “Medieval Pharmaceutical Table”. It is only learned at technology level 12, but sometimes you can buy medicine for your Pals from traveling merchants.
Revival of Pal
If your Pal died for some reason, you can resurrect him by placing him in the “Container for Pals.” It will take 10 minutes to resurrect him.
Best Pals for starting the game

Of course, Chikipi, Lamboll and Kattiva are good workers and fighters, but none of them know how, for example, to cut down a tree or water berry plantations. Despite the fact that the habitats of Pals are indicated on the map, sometimes they may not be there. Therefore, if you cannot find the desired Pal, explore the world further and return to the habitat after some time.
Lifmank
Since none of the starting Pals can chop down trees, Lifmank is excellent will cope with this task at first. Lifmank can also sow berry plantations and help with manual work. These advantages make him a very profitable pet, unlike, for example, Humoss, who has only one useful function in the household.
Pengullet
Pengullet will be useful for cultivating crops on a berry plantation, since it can water the berries.
Foxpark

This Pal can be ridden, but you will need level 12 technology to learn the saddle for Irktirdir.
You will get the first 6-7 levels of technology without problems in a short time, but then you will have to equip the base with new buildings, catch more and more Pals and study the world of the game in order to level up faster. The travel points are located quite far from each other, and in order to get to the desired place as quickly as possible, it is worth acquiring the first riding Pal.
Melpaka
Melpaca will do an excellent job of this task and make traveling around the world easier. But in order to saddle Pal, you will first also need to make the “Equipment Workbench for Pals”, and at the 7th technology level, study the “Saddle for Pal Melpak”.
How to saddle riding Pals
In the future, you will be able to tame more riding, flying and swimming Pals, but each of them will require its own special item that allows you to move on horseback. For example, as mentioned above, for Melpaka you will need a “Saddle for Pal Melpaka”.
To mount Pal, you first need to summon him with the “E” key. And then, standing near Pal, hold down the “F” key.
Saddled Pals have special attacks. For example, Melpaca has a ranged attack and a charge towards the enemy. They can also speed up if you hold down the Shift key.
