As with many events in Genshin Impact, during the main event of patch 5.1 “A Chromatic Ode to Candy and Roses” between story quests in the region, you can meet characters taking part in the celebration. In this guide, we will consider the location of all the heroes at different stages of the quest, so that if you want, you can easily chat with all your friends.
Stage I
The maps below indicate the location of all the heroes after the end of the first stage of the “Surprise for Her” event.
Just in case, let us remind you that if you have Nahida, then with her elemental skill you can read the thoughts of all characters.
Wanderer
The Wanderer can be found on one of the observation platforms to the left of the Academy gates, hiding from the bustle of the streets.
Layla
A girl sits on the veranda of the Puspa cafe, trying to finish all her tasks and calculations before the celebration begins.
Nilu
A dancer stands near the stage of the Zubair Theater in the Grand Bazaar. There, a colleague persuades her to visit the stalls of merchants selling various holiday treats at a pleasant discount.
Dory
Dory stands in the same place in Port Omos where the quest “Surprise for Her” ended, and reminds the Traveler of her kindness and generosity.

Layla
Sitting in the same place in the cafe and trying to finish her work.
Wanderer and Saino
Wanderer is also standing in the same place to the left of the Academy gate, but this time Saino has joined him to tell a joke.
Tignari
The Forest Guardian stands at the fruit stand in Port Ormos, worried about running into Dendro Archon at the next gathering in Pardis Dhyay.
Kaveh
Kaveh is sitting in the Jafar Inn, where the quest ended, and worries about the perfection of the design he created.
Faruzan
She can be found in the same tavern, but a little further from Kaveh. Faruzan is thinking about what tasty treat to give the architect.
Kandakia
Kandakia looks at the carpets across the street from Jafar's Tavern and ponders the wondrous gem.
Aranar
Four Aranar also came to the party. You can interact with the familiars of Dendro Archon, but as soon as they realize that they have been noticed by a person, they will immediately disappear. Below we will mark the places where they are hiding.
Arasachi
It stands near the southernmost teleport of Sumeru City.
Arachitta
Hidden behind the house to the left of the blacksmith.
Aravedan
Took refuge in the flowers in the north of the city.
Arakaya
Can be found behind a flower bush in the northeastern part of Sumeru.
