While searching for the lyrium dagger for the quest “The Singing Blade” in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you will come across a dead end in a passage near a cliff. The only way will be blocked by filth. Despite the active bridge, which is powered by the crystal's energy, you will not be able to go further until you find a way to break through the wall of infection.
How to break through the filth and continue the search for the blade, we will tell you in our guide.
How to free the passage at the cliff in the quest “The Singing Blade”
In order to be able to break through the veil of filth, you need to destroy all red clots nearby.
First Clot of Corruption
The first clot of corruption that needs to be destroyed will be located to the left of its main wall. You can only get rid of it with a ranged attack.
Second Clot of Filth
To get to the second clot of infection, you need to use the elven mechanism that restores the bridge. Remove the blue crystal from the pedestal and turn your back to it.
Once the bridge disappears, you will see the last bright red piece of fel, which is on the opposite side of the cliff. Destroy the clot again with a ranged attack and return to the dead end.
Now that the wall of fel is filled with red, you can finally cut a path through it with a light attack and continue exploring the Ritual Site.
