In Genshin Impact, multi-colored lanterns and lenses are one of the puzzles in Velurium Mirage. To solve them, you need to find special pieces of glass and insert them into lamps to create light of the desired shade and thereby unlock chests or other objects. In this guide, we will tell you where to find all these riddles, and how to solve them.
Colorful lanterns in Mirage Velurium: how to find and solve
Note that only those lanterns are considered here, that can be found in the open world. Puzzles related to quests and trials are covered in separate guides. At this point in time, you can find 6 of these puzzles, and they are all in the Pavilion of the Hermits.
This location is unlocked by completing the quest Trouble in the Garden of Ghostly Mirrors. The map above shows the approximate location of all the puzzles. Next, we will explain in detail how to solve them.
Colorful Lantern 1
Move to the teleport in the Pavilion of the Hermits, and then move towards the amusement park and turn left at the second fork. Climb up to the ledge and keep running forward towards the wooden platforms with hilichurls and slime. Wait for the lift, climb onto it and go upstairs. There, go a little further and turn right to the lamps. The entire route is shown on the map below.
Approach the lamp that looks directly at the precious chest and push it so that it moves to the left, as shown in the first picture below. Now pick up the blue lens and insert it into the previously shifted lantern. This will activate the opposite lamp.
Take the yellow lens that floats next to the crates and place it on the previously activated lantern (do not pass the gem through the blue color, otherwise it will melt). As a result, you will unlock a precious chest.

From the previous lantern, return back by going down the lift and following the path down. You will find a rich chest and a colorful lamp on a wooden platform.
Go to the lantern that shines on the other lamp and push it. As a result, it will begin to shine on the device emitting yellow light.
Now pick up the blue lens that is hanging to your right and place it in the previously shifted lamp.
At the end, take the yellow lens without touching the blue light, otherwise the gem will immediately disappear, and then carefully go around the lamps and approach the third lantern. Place a stone in it to unlock a rich chest.
Colorful Lantern 3
Move to the teleporter in the Hermit's Pavilion and start descending in a west direction. You will soon find the device you need (see screenshots below).
It's quite simple here – pick up the blue lens hanging in front of the multi-colored lantern, and then place it in the lamp, and you will immediately unlock a regular chest.

Go back to the previous teleporter and go up the path a little, and you will immediately see the mechanism you need. The required space is shown in the screenshots below.
Easy here too – pick up the yellow lens and place it in the lantern to unlock a normal chest . Don't go through the blue light or the gem will melt.

From the last lantern, go up, going towards the amusement park, and at the fork, turn right and enter the tree. Once outside, turn right again and climb up the ledge. Here you will find the puzzle you need. The full route is shown on the map below.
Now pick up the blue lens and place it on the lamp that shines towards the precious chest.

Next, take the yellow lens and place it in the lantern located at the top of the wooden tower (you can climb the ladders). Try not to hit the white light of the spotlight, otherwise you will lose your gem.
Climb down, take the second yellow lens and place it in the second lantern looking at the chest. Now wait until the blue lamp shines on it, which will unlock your treasure.
Colorful Lantern 6
From the previous puzzle, head east, dropping off the ledge and across to the huge projector screen. To the right of it you will find the entrance to the cave – enter it and start going down the path. You will soon arrive at the location with the right puzzle.
Now pick up the yellow lens and insert it into the lamp next to the lollipops scattered on the ground. Get the timing right so you don't get caught in the white spotlight that will melt your gem.
Next, take the blue lens near the boxes and place it in the lantern located on the wooden tower, where you can climb the stairs. Again, don't get caught in the spotlight or you'll have to run after the gem again.
Now wait for the spinning spotlight to shine on the correct lantern , which in turn does not activate another lamp, which will unlock the rich chest.
