Amendments to ARC Raiders: how to find an electromagnetic trap and switches

Quest Amendments – one from Celeste's missions, which takes place on the Dam Battlefield map inARC Raiders. Celeste asks you to check and de-energize an old electromagnetic trap that was previously used against the ARC. There is a risk that it will activate against raiders, so it needs to be disabled completely. To do this, you have to find the trap itself and three switches located nearby to turn it off.

Get to Victory Ridge

The first point of the task is to go to Victory Ridge. This is the northern part of the Dam Battlefield map. The point can only be seen on the map at maximum distance.

Reach any part of the northern area, and the game will count this stage automatically. After this, a new marker will open – searching for the old electromagnetic trap.

Find the electromagnetic trap

The target is located just north of the Hydroponic Dome Complex, next to the road that runs along the top of the map. You can use this place as a starting point.

As you get closer, you will see a tall metal pole covered in wires with a round emitter on top. This is the trap we are looking for. Go down to the base and interact with her to begin the deactivation process.

After this, a new task will appear – turn off the power to the three power switches that power the trap.

The switches must be turned off strictly in the order specified. Each subsequent one will become active only after the previous one is deactivated. They can be seen by yellow electrical boxes with a characteristic hum that helps determine direction.

First switch

Located to the north of the electromagnetic trap, on a small hillock. If you stand next to the trap and look to the left of the slope, you will notice a box among the trees. Go upstairs and turn off the power to the first block.

This stage activates ability to interact with the second switch.

Second switch

Now turn east from the trap. You will see the ruins of a building with red walls. The switch is on the upper balcony of one of the destroyed halves.

To get there there:

  1. Climb the box or piece of rubble against the wall
  2. Jump to the adjacent balcony
  3. Enter through the hole in the wall and interact with the yellow box

The third switch

The last one is located south of the trap, closer to the Hydroponic Dome Complex. If you have trouble finding your way, stand at the first switch, face the trap and move straight ahead.

Soon you will notice a broken cable on a pole, it leads directly to the desired device. The switch is located at the foot of a tree in an open area. Disable it to complete this part of the mission.

Disconnect the electromagnetic trap

After all three power supplies are de-energized, return to the trap. You can now interact with it again to turn it off permanently. After this, a message will appear indicating the completion of the Amendments quest.
