Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

In Honkai: Star Rail (XSR)Dahlia is a 5-star character with a Fire type of combat and belongs to the path of Nothingness. In a team, she can play the role of a secondary damage dealer and support, aimed at breaking through enemy vulnerabilities and enhancing super penetration. In this guide you will learn about her best build, light cones and relics. We will also tell you about the recommended units with her.

Main features of Dahlia

How to get Dahlia

This heroine can only be obtained during the event Jump. The last time the corresponding banner was launched was as part of the first phase of the 3.8 update. If you want to be one of the first to know about her next rerun, we advise you to bookmark this article.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Let's add that HoYoverse extremely rarely gives out 5-star event characters and does this only in honor of high-profile holidays, so it is highly likely that you will be able to unlock this former follower of the path of Destruction only with the help of Jumps.

Progression of Dahlia's characteristics

In the table below you can see how the basic parameters of the heroine change as her level increases.

LevelAttack PowerDefenseHPSpeed
1928214896
2018016128896
4034730955496
6051345882196
80679606108796

Note that her critical damage, critical hit chance and taunt are 50%, 5% and 100 units respectively at any level, and her energy reserve is 130 units.

Dahlia's Abilities

When using the basic attack “Play with a Crack in Memories” she deals fire damage to the selected enemy in the amount of 50~140% of her attack power. At the same time, it restores 20 units of energy and penetrates targets with 10 units of durability.

After using the skill “Embrace with the Tongues of Betrayal” the heroine creates a zone that lasts 3 turns. The duration of this zone is reduced by 1 turn at the beginning of Dahlia's turn. After this, inflicts fire damage equal to 80-200% of Dahlia's attack power to the selected enemy and adjacent targets.

While the zone is active, the vulnerability penetration effectiveness of all allies is increased by 50%, and toughness damage received by enemies with an unbroken vulnerability is converted into super penetration damage. The skill restores 30 units of energy and penetrates targets by 10 units of durability.

By activating the super ability “Dive into the Ashes of the Grave”, the heroine assigns the Wither status to all enemies for 4 turns, after which she inflicts fire damage in the amount of 180-360% of her attack power, which is distributed equally among all enemies.

The defense of an enemy with the Wither status is reduced by 8-23%, and he receives vulnerabilities corresponding to the types of the Dance Partner.

If we talk about the heroine’s passive talent – “Who is afraid of Constance?”, then thanks to him, Georgina at the beginning of the battle restores 35 energy and assigns the status of Dance Partner to herself and the ally who started the battle. When there is no other Dance Partner left on the battlefield, Dahlia applies this status to herself and an ally with the highest penetration effect. After a Dance Partner attacks an enemy with a Vulnerable Break, the attack's Toughness damage is converted to 30-75% Super Break Damage 1 time.

After an enemy receives an attack from another Dance Partner, Dahlia performs a bonus attack, dealing damage 5 times, each dealing fire damage to a random enemy equal to 15-37.5% of Dahlia's attack power. Whenever this attack damages a target with a vulnerability broken, the attack's toughness damage is converted to 100-250% super penetration damage 1 time.

This effect can only work 1 time per turn. If the target is defeated before the bonus attack is activated, then this bonus attack will be directed at a random enemy.

It is also impossible not to mention the technique “The Heart is the Best Grave”, the use of which creates a space that exists for 20 seconds. Enemies located in this space cannot attack allies. If the battle with an enemy begins in this space, then Dahlia immediately creates the area described in her skill and converts the durability damage dealt to enemies in the state of breaking through vulnerability at the beginning of the battle into 60% super penetration damage 1 time. Only one space created by allies can exist at a time.

Traces of Dahlia

In addition to the above abilities, the character leveling tree also includes other enhancements that provide passive bonuses or permanent increases to characteristics. Basically we are talking about increasing the penetration effect, resistance to effects and speed. You can get acquainted with them all in the picture below.

Next, we will briefly consider special traces with their own mechanics:

  • Another funeral – at the beginning of the battle, Dahlia increases the penetration effect of other characters by 24% of her own penetration effect + 50% for 1 turn. When Dahlia is healed or shielded by allies, this effect triggers again for 3 turns, but it cannot trigger again during the same turn.
  • Condolences to old friends – using the bonus attack described in the heroine’s talent restores 1 team skill point. This effect can trigger 1 time per 2 bonus attacks of the talent.
  • Abandoning the Old, Embracing the New – When an ally adds vulnerability to a targeted enemy, that ally's speed increases by 30% for 2 turns. If a Fire-type character adds a vulnerability during an attack, then after the attack they deal an additional 20 points of Fire-type toughness damage to each target with the added vulnerability and restore 10% of their maximum energy. A maximum of 50% of the energy can be restored in this way.

Dahlia Eidolons

Unlocking them requires materials of the same name, issued when duplicates of the heroine are dropped, which, of course, is random. And considering the rarity of 5-star character drops, be prepared to spend a lot of money and time on this. Fortunately, even without eidolons, Georgina is able to serve as a sub-deadlock/buffer in a squad without any problems.

The table below shows all the eidolons and their benefits for the character:

NameDescriptionBenefit
Eidolon 1Applies the Super Penetration damage multiplier provided by the Dance Partner talent to all allied characters, with the Dance Partner receiving an additional 40% increased damage. After Dance Partner uses an attack, deals additional flat Toughness damage equal to 25% of the enemy target's maximum Toughness (minimum 10 points, maximum 300 points). This effect can only trigger once per enemy target, and the trigger count for each target is reset after an enemy receives a killing blow. The 60% super penetration buff now applies to the entire team, and for the Dance Partner it increases to 100%. Plus, you'll be able to wear down your enemies' toughness faster, which is useful in some modes. Overall, E1 is pretty good.
Eidolon 2When Dahlia is on the field, reduces the resistance of all enemy types by 20%. When an enemy target enters the field, immediately inflicts the Wither condition on it, which lasts 3 turns.Makes enemies less protected, increasing the damage dealt to them, and allows you to instantly apply Wither without waiting for the ult to activate, which is again useful in some modes. E2 is better than the first, but not much.
Eidolon 3The level of the ult increases by two, and the level of the basic attack by one.  The maximum level for the first increases to 15, and for the second – to 10.Gives an average benefit.
Eidolon 4Increases the number of hits dealt by the talent's bonus attack by 5, and each hit increases the damage the target receives by 12%, the effect lasts 2 turns. Now, when performing a bonus attack, 10 bounces will be made instead of 5, plus enemies will begin to take 12% more damage. Not a bad eidolon, but definitely not worth the resources spent on opening it.
Eidolon 5The level of skill and talent increases by two. The maximum level for both increases to 15.Gives average benefit.
Eidolon 6Increases the effect of breaking through “Dance Partners” by 150%. When using the talent's bonus attack, it advances the next action of all “Dance Partners” by 20%.Significantly increases the damage of both Dahlia herself and her partner (usually the main DD) and allows them to move more often. An excellent eidolon, but we do not recommend spending resources on knocking it out.

If you plan to knock out eidolons and have a limited budget, then you can stop at E1 and E2, which will significantly increase her capabilities as a support and debuffer. If you have a choice between a signature and the first eidolon, then we recommend taking the signature weapon, as it will be more useful.

How to play as Georgina

Information will appear after the heroine is released in the game…

Advantages and disadvantages of Georgina

Thanks to her abilities, she can perform several roles on the battlefield, significantly strengthening the squad playing through penetration. Its advantages also include:

  • It is an extremely useful specialized support for super penetration teams, so it is ideally combined with damage dealers such as Firefly, Boothill or Rappa.
  • It can not only increase the efficiency of vulnerability penetration and the penetration effect of allies, but also allow them to penetrate any enemy, imposing vulnerabilities of their type and Dance Partner on their opponents. Plus, team members will be able to deal super penetration damage even to those targets whose durability has not yet been broken. In addition, she can lower enemy defense, thereby further increasing the damage dealt by damage dealers.
  • Gives additional skill points when performing bonus attacks, and the buff from her skill lasts 3 turns, so she can alternate the use of a skill with two basic attacks, which makes her an OH-positive character.
  • Partially plays the role of a sub-detonator, as she can deal good fire damage with your bonus attacks, skills and superpowers. At the same time, they will all reduce the resistance of enemies.
  • Gives additional speed and energy buffs to Firefly, but in the future it can become extremely useful for other penetration damage dealers.

Dahlia in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

However, this mysterious lady in a hat should not be considered an ideal character, since she also has her own shortcomings, namely:

  • Dahlia is a highly specialized support for penetration teams, which have long been absent from the current meta. She, of course, can significantly strengthen Firefly, but she will still not be able to compete with the strongest damage dealers. Therefore, if there are no other characters to break through, Georgina is definitely not worth knocking out. The situation may change if the developers suddenly decide to strengthen such units.
  • She needs to use her ult as often as possible to inflict Wither on new enemies in modes where enemies attack in waves (for example, in Pure Fantasy), so a rope may be needed to restore energy. At the same time, you will also have to increase the penetration effect and speed.

The best build for Dahlia

The best light cones

When selecting weapons, we advise you to pay attention to those options that increase the penetration effect and attack power, as well as impose additional weakening on enemies and strengthen allies. The table below shows the most interesting cones.

NameCharacteristicsAbility

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Don't forget her flame (5 stars)

HP: 53~1164

Attack power: 24~529

Defense: 21~463

Increases the effect of carrier penetration by 60-120%. At the beginning of the battle, the penetration damage dealt by the owner and the ally who started the battle increases by 32-72%. If there is no ally who started the battle, then this effect affects the wearer and the ally with the highest penetration effect. Bonuses of this type cannot be cumulative. When the owner adds a vulnerability to an enemy, he recovers 1 skill point. This effect can only work 1 time, and the number of times it works is reset when the superpower is activated.

A signature for Georgina, which increases the EP she needs and strengthens both herself and the main damage dealer. Plus, the team will receive even more HP, so you can easily activate the heroine’s skill every turn to speed up the accumulation of energy and use your ultimate more often. If you choose between E1 and signature weapons, we recommend choosing the second option, since it will bring a little more benefit, especially in the absence of alternatives.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

House at the end of a long journey (5 stars)

HP: 43~952

Attack power: 21~476

Defense: 30~61

Increases the effect of carrier penetration by 60-100%. When breaking through an enemy's vulnerability, the owner has a 100% chance of placing the Burning debuff on him, increasing the penetration damage he receives by 18-30% for two turns. This effect can stack up to two times.

An excellent cone for the heroine, which gives her the same amount of EP as the signature (if you do not take into account overlays), and allows you to apply another debuff that increases the damage of the main damage dealer. But we are talking about the Fugue signature, and the fox, if available, should definitely be used together with Dahlia in the same squad.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Flying downwind lie (5 stars)

HP: 43~953

Attack power: 26~582

Defense: 24~529

Increases the speed of the carrier by 18-30%. After the owner uses an attack, he has a 120% chance of inflicting the Decoy status on each enemy, reducing the target's defense by 16-24% for two turns. If the carrier’s speed is equal to or exceeds 170 units, then with a 120% probability he can assign the Robbed status to each enemy, which reduces the target’s defense by 8-12% for two turns. When the Robbed or Deception debuffs are applied again, only the last applied effect remains active.

Surprisingly, this is another good option for Georgina, which although does not give her EP, but significantly increases her speed, allowing her to use the skill more often, and, therefore, accumulate energy faster. In addition, you can significantly reduce the defense of enemies, increasing the overall DPS of the entire squad. In terms of efficiency, this cone is no worse than the previous one.

Dahlia in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Adventures in the bath (4 stars)

HP: 48~1058

Attack power: 24~529

Defense: 15~330

Increases the damage dealt by the wearer by 16-32%. The owner's attack has a 100% chance of inflicting the Weakness status on the target, increasing damage taken by 10-16% for 2 turns. Such effects cannot be cumulative.

This is the best 4-star cone for Dahlia on the 5th cast, as it significantly increases her personal damage and places a great debuff on enemies, and unlike Resolve… you can renew the debuff without waiting for it to expire, so the duration of the effect will be longer. Plus, the chance of applying a debuff does not depend on the application. But you can only get this cone from a paid power supply, and we definitely don’t recommend deliberately knocking out 5 copies of it for Dahlia.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Determination shines like pearls of sweat (4 stars)

HP: 952

ATK: 476

DEF: 330

Has a 60~100% chance of trapping the affected enemy (if he has not already fallen into one), reducing his defense by 12-16% for one move.

A universal cone that will also suit Dahlia. It is advisable to collect at least 3 overlays to cut off more protection. Let us remind you that these debuffs can stack, which can significantly increase the damage dealt by your damage dealers.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Before the start of the training mission (4 stars)

HP: 43~952

Attack power: 21~476

Defense: 15~330

Increases the hit chance of effects by 24~40%. When striking an enemy with reduced defense, the cone restores 4 units of energy to the character.

Increases the character's required SPE, and the second part of the passive will work regularly, since Georgina is able to independently cut off the defense of enemies. Thus, you will be able to receive additional. energy and ult more often.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Lonely healing (5 stars)

HP: 48~1058

Attack power: 24~529

Defense: 18~396

Increases the penetration effect by 20-40%. Activating the ult increases periodic damage by 24-48% for two turns. When an enemy with a status that inflicts DoT is destroyed, 4-6 units of energy are restored to the owner.

If you need to increase the penetration effect, then this option will be better than the previous two, since with the 5th overlay it can increase this parameter by a significant amount. Plus, you can increase the damage from Burning, which will actually apply a skill or ult if the enemy’s vulnerability is broken.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Fermata (4 stars)

HP: 952

ATK: 476

DEF: 330

Increases the penetration effect by 16-32%, as well as the damage dealt to enemies with Weathering and Shock status by 16-32%. The bonus also affects periodic damage.

This option can be an alternative to the previous cone. It gives less penetration effect, and the second part of the passive will only work if there are characters in the squad who can apply the appropriate debuffs. In general, if possible, still take “Lonely Healing.”

Best relics

As for the choice of ordinary relics mined in corrosion caves, we advise you to pay attention to sets that increase speed, the penetration effect and the chance of effects hitting, as well as in one way or another covering weakenings and buffs for allies in their bonuses. The table below shows the best options.

NameBonusesBenefits

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Iron Cavalry

2 parts: increases the penetration effect by 16%.

4 parts: if the penetration effect is equal to or greater than 150%, then in case of penetration damage the wearer ignores 10% of the enemy's defense. If the EP is equal to or exceeds 250%, then the super-penetration damage inflicted by the owner ignores another 15% of the defense.

This set should be chosen by those who want to increase Dahlia's personal damage, turning her into a good sub-DD. But getting 250% EP will be extremely problematic.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Thief of the Falling meteor

2 parts: increase the penetration effect by 16%.

4 parts: increase the penetration effect by another 16%. When the wearer breaks through an enemy's vulnerability, restores 3 units of energy.

Allows you to maximize the penetration effect, thereby increasing the EP buff for allies. Plus, you will be able to Ultimate more often thanks to the additional energy you receive. In addition, choosing the appropriate stats for this set is very simple due to its prevalence.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

Sleepy Watchmaker shenanigans/Thief of the Falling Meteor/Iron Cavalry

2 pieces: increases the acceleration rate by 6%.

2 pieces: increases the penetration effect by 16%.

You can either take 2 sets for speed +12% to reach 160 units, or take 2 sets for EP, or 2 sets for speed and EP. All options show acceptable results, especially with suitable characteristics.

Now we move on to planar jewelry, which is mined in the Virtual Universe. The list below shows the recommended options (the numbers indicate the priority of choice):

Planar decorationBonusesReasons for choice

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

1) Lotus palace lantern

2 parts: increases the speed of the wearer by 6%. When striking an enemy with a fire vulnerability, the owner's penetration effect is increased by 40% for 1 turn. The passive will work constantly, because Georgina will be able to impose a fiery vulnerability on opponents. It increases the heroine's personal damage quite well.

Georgina v Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

2) Living Wonwak

2 copies: the carrier’s energy recovery stat increases by 5%. If the owner's speed is greater than or equal to 120 units, then at the beginning of the battle his action moves forward by 40%.Allows you to activate your ultimate more often and speeds up the heroine's rotation at the beginning of the battle, making it possible to quickly get to the activation of the first superpower.

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

3) Talia – the land of bandits

2 parts: increases the penetration effect by 16%. Increases this indicator by another 20% if the speed of the carrier is equal to or exceeds 145 units.A universal option that simplifies the set of EP, however, you will need to increase the speed to the specified value, which can be very difficult.

As for the characteristics of relics, you must choose as follows:

  • Body: HP or protection or chance of hitting effects (when using “Resolve…”)
  • Legs: Speed
  • Planar Sphere: HP or Defense
  • Connecting rope: penetration effect (personal damage) or energy recovery (more frequent ultimate)
  • Additional characteristics: speed (until you reach the desired indicator) -> penetration effect -> Effect hit chance -> health/protection

Georgina in Honkai Star Rail (XSR): guide to the best build

If we talk about optimal indicators of the heroine's attributes, then they look like this:

  • Health: 3000+
  • Penetration effect: 180%+
  • Speed: 134 or 160 units.
  • Chance to hit effects: 20%+ when using the “Resolve…” cone

Best commands for Dahlia

Considering Georgina's specialization, she works best with damage dealers who rely on super penetration damage. As of update 3.8, these still only include Firefly, Rappa, and Boothill. Add in supports (Ruan Mei, the fake Pathfinder and Fugue) and healers (Linsha and Gallagher) who use the same mechanics, and you get the perfect squad.

It should be noted that the best companion for her is Firefly, who receives from Dahlia a personal buff to restore energy, allowing her to be almost constantly under the influence of superpowers. You can also try to strengthen the damage dealer to the maximum by completely abandoning the healer/shieldman and taking another support in the 4th slot.

We will add that Georgina, thanks to her extensive buffs, can be used in combination with some other damage dealers, for example, Himeko (will help her quickly break through the resistance of enemies and inflict increased damage on them), Xuei (will speed up penetration ult of opponents) or March 7 (Hunting). The latter's skill should be used on Gallagher or Linsha to deal more toughness damage with their enhanced basic attacks. All optimal commands are shown in the table below.

How to increase abilities (what to level up first)

The pictures below demonstrate the materials and their quantity required for maximum leveling of the basic attack, skill, superpower and talent.

  • Fire Spirit, Starfire Essence, and Celestial Cremator are obtained from Sepals located in the Alchemy Commission (Lofu Xianzhou), or through Synthesis.
  • Thought Pieces, Impression Fragments, and Wishes Shards are obtained from Memory Zone Memes on Penaconia, Quests, and Enemies in the Virtual Universe, or through Synthesis.
  • Silence Defeated Stream – obtained by fighting the boss in the new Echoes of War.
  • Imprints of Fate – obtained in the Virtual Universe, issued with a battle pass and purchased for unquenchable ashes in the Pom-Pom store. Sometimes they are a reward in temporary events.

As for the priority of leveling up abilities, it is advisable to first increase the talent, and then take on the ultimate (should be 1-2 levels behind). Then you can level up your skill and only at the end take up basic attacks.

How to level up a character

At certain levels, you will need to elevate the heroine, spending a large amount of resources and credits:

  • Rise (level 30): credits x4000 and pieces of thoughts x5
  • Rise (level 40): credits x8000 and pieces of thoughts x10
  • Rise (level 50): credits x16000, fragments of impressions x6 and a dazzling prominence x3
  • Exaltation (level 60): credits x40000, fragments of impressions x9 and a dazzling prominence x7
  • Exaltation (level 70): credits x80000, fragments of wishes x6 and a dazzling prominence x20
  • Exaltation (level 80): credits x160000, fragments of wishes x9 and dazzling prominence e x35

Dazzling Prominence can be obtained from the stagnant shadow “Form of Soot”, located in the Sanctuary of Divination of Janusopolis (Amphoreus) or using a universal machine for synthesis by deception of materials.
