In Zenless Zone Zero, the Dangerous Task is an exploration mission and part of the quest chain “Chapter 2 Insert Story: Mission Unthinkable”. During it, you will need to help Zhu Yuan and Qingyi get to the evidence car, then inspect the scene, collect all the clues, and find the criminals. How to start the quest
During the quest “Insert story of Chapter 2: Mission Unthinkable” you will need to go to a seminar organized by the Security Service, and then eavesdrop on the conversation of Zhu Yuan and Qingyi, who want to go to protect the car with evidence. Weisz and Belle decide to help them.
Return to the video rental store, then interact with the HDD system and find the corresponding task in the “Main Line”. The game will advise you to take ethereal and electric characters of at least level 33. Zhu Yuan will be given as a trial heroine – she is the main damage dealer, so it is advisable to take sub-DD and supports from level 30 and above to the team with her.
Help Zhu Yuan and Qingyi Get to the Evidence Vehicle
You will have to solve a small puzzle with the pistons right at the very beginning. To do this, turn the left valve 1 time, the middle one 2 times, and the right one 3 times. The picture below shows which directions they should face. Then follow your friends down.
The combat test will begin. Run forward, climb up and engage in a fight with the first group of ordinary Ethereals. After dealing with them, approach the car in the alley and listen to the conversation of the Security Service employees. Then deal with several bandits. At the end, you will have to fight a Tall Bruiser who is vulnerable to ice and physical attacks. He likes to attack with a running start, so dodge his attacks in time and hit him from behind.
The operatives will run away, but the enemies will follow them. Then a new battle stage will begin. Defeat the first group of regular bandits and enter the lift ahead. Go down and destroy the Wanted Bruiser, who is resistant to ice but vulnerable to physical and fire attacks. Be careful, as he can attack both at short and long range.
After defeating him, enter into a dialogue with Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. Then watch the epic video of the girls escaping. Talk to them, introducing yourself with your real name. Then a new stage of the quest will begin.
Inspect the scene
Appearing on the playing field, start moving down, collecting coins along the edges. Then stand on the observation zone to unlock a new area on the left. Collect the first clue on the left side. You will receive a psychoresonance plugin, the use of which (the “R” key) will allow you to move to a special location where questions are formed when collecting enough evidence.
Collect clues at the scene
Return back by standing on the cell with the funnel. So, now you have 4 more clues to collect. It is not necessary to return to the mind palace immediately after collecting a new clue – we advise you to collect all the files first, and only then conduct an investigation. The next 2 clues are on the left – pick them up, and then jump into the funnel below.
As a result, you will find yourself at the top of the location, where you can pick up a purple briefcase and the 4th hold. Exit this area by going along the treadmill below. Now go to the right side of the playing field and stand on the piston turned to the right to get to a separate area with a handle.
Rotate the mechanism 2 times to rotate the pistons as shown in the picture below. Use the middle press again to move to the left highlighted area with the second handle – turn it 1 time. Return to the middle piston and use it to fly to the top, where you can collect the Denny, the purple suitcase and the 1st data pack.
The 5th clue is also located here. Once you stand on the cell with it, select all available options. After collecting the clues, use the plugin to move to the mind chamber.
Answer three questions in the Palace of the Mind
Move to the left eye, where you will be asked: “How did the criminals get here?” Correct answer:
- By car!
Move to the top eye where you will be asked, “How did the criminals leave the scene?” Correct answer:
- On foot.
Move to the right eye, where you will be asked: “Who owned that banbu?” Correct answer:
- Criminals.
Then a key question will appear in the center of the location. Move to it, and you will be asked: “Where can the criminals be now?” The correct answer is:
- Not far from here!
After answering all the questions correctly, you can begin to carry out an investigative experiment, which will take you to a new area.
Find out where the criminals are
Once you have control over the banbu, click the “Continue” button. Then stand on the observation zone to open the way to the golden briefcase. Click “Continue” again, and then go down and remember the code: 54321. Now exit the experiment and return to the real world through the funnel.
So, first of all, go to the upper area through the funnel, and then use the secret path on the right to find the golden briefcase. Go back and go down to the door with the password. Choose the combination: 54321.
Go down, pick up the golden briefcase, and then go to the funnels and stand on the cell with the clock. Conduct another investigative experiment, and you will see which cells you need to step on to overcome the obstacle (they will be highlighted in green). Then take the 2nd data package and the coin, and go to the next zone.
Go left and down to stand on the next cell with a clock and start the experiment. You will see where the criminals are hiding and where the materials are. On the left is a crack behind which the 3rd data package is hidden, and on the right is a crack behind which a coin is located. The bandits are hiding in the middle.
Click on the wall with the crack several times to destroy it. After collecting all the bonuses, go to the place where the thugs are hiding and go there. Stand on the cell with them and click continue to start the combat test. Deal with the first group of normal enemies.
Proceed to the next arena and destroy the second group of common mobs. They will also be accompanied by a Vicious Sweeper, who is vulnerable to Electro attacks but resistant to physical attacks. Beware of his spin attacks, as they cannot be parried. It's best to stay away from him while he's fiddling with his hands.
After dealing with all the enemies, chat with the Security Service employees again. After that, the order will be completed. If you followed our instructions, you will receive an “S” rating and the maximum reward: 60 polychromes, 310 Internet points, 25 thousand denni and various materials.
