Darkwright is a mythical ore inThe Forge (Forging) It is used to craft end-game armor and weapons with maximum multipliers and rare passives. Due to the extremely low drop rate, Darkwright is considered one of the rarest ores in all of Forging, and if you see a player with equipment based on it, you are clearly not a newbie.
Where Darkwright is mined
Darkright only drops from Volcanic Rock. This ore has no other sources. These stones are found in the Volcanic Depths zone, which is hidden inside the Ruined Caves of the Forgotten Kingdom region.

How to get to the Volcanic Depths
Once you're in the Forgotten Realm, head to the Broken Caves. From the entrance, keep to the right. Soon you will see a board with the inscription “DANGER” – this is a landmark that you are going right.

Moving further, you turn right again and go out to the NPC named Amber. To the right of it is the Basalt Vein. It needs to be broken with a pickaxe with at least 78 mining power. Behind it is a passage down.

If the vein is already broken, you're in luck: you can just jump into the hole and immediately fall into the Volcanic Depths.
This is one of the most dangerous areas in the game and this is where Volcanic Rocks appear. Each such stone has a chance of approximately 1 in 5500-6600 of getting Darkright, so you will have to work with the pickaxe for a long time.
Which pickaxe is suitable for farming
To break Volcanic Rocks, you will need a pickaxe with 100 or more mining power. The minimum working option is a Lightite Pickaxe, but it is most comfortable to farm with:
- Arcane Pickaxe
- Magma Pickaxe
- Demonic Pickaxe

The faster you break stones, the less risk of running into enemies and the higher the final chance of getting ore.
How to increase the chance of Darkwright
Without boosts, farming can take hours, so be sure to use everything that increases luck.
- Luck Potions: sold by Maria. They work consistently and noticeably, especially with long-term farming.
- Dedicated Player skill: gives from 8% to 40% luck depending on your playing time.
- Miner Shard runes with the Luck bonus: Great for multi-slot pickaxes. Particularly good with Arcana and Demonic pickaxes.
- Races with luck bonuses: The best option is Angel, but there are others. If you're unlucky with your race, use codes to reroll.
- Luck Totems: temporary but powerful bonus to luck. Ideal for farming ores such as Darkkrite or Demonite.
Why is Darkkrite needed and what does it give?
Darkkrite has a multiplier of 6.3x, which automatically puts it at the top in terms of efficiency when forging. But the main value is not in the numbers. When used in armor, it provides a passive effect similar to shadow evasion: there is about a 15% chance to completely ignore an incoming attack.

In the endgame it is incredibly powerful, especially against Reapers and other powerful enemies. This is why selling Darkrite for$94.5is a bad idea. Its real value is revealed through crafting.
Darkright is a classic example of an ore for the patient. You need access to the Volcanic Depths, a suitable pickaxe, luck boosts, and a willingness to farm for a long time. But in return you get one of the best materials for creating top equipment in the game.
