In Genshin Impact, the Drum Dance is a secret achievement that requires you to solve three kori drum puzzles in the Asipattrawana swamp and the same number of springy mushroom challenges to unlock. You can also get a deluxe chest. In this guide, we will tell you exactly where these riddles are and what you need to do to solve them.
Kori-drum riddles in the Asipattravan swamp
Most likely, take on the solution of these puzzles will be available after receiving and leveling the Sorush bet, therefore, to begin with, we advise you to go through the “Hvarna of Good and Evil” quest chain, in which, by the way, you will be introduced to the essence of measles drums. Next, head to the eastern part of the Asipattravan swamp.
The right place is shown in the screenshots above. Here you will find three puzzles with kori drums. To solve them, it is necessary to apply normal or falling strikes in the correct sequence in accordance with the scores, which are usually drawn on the rocks nearby.
The list below shows how attacks relate to sounds and scores, and the gif above shows a visual example of drumming:
- A regular hit will create a light sound (a half-filled circle).
- Hitting the fall will create a booming sound (full circle).
- If you stop and wait, there will be a pause (empty circle).
This will flicker the drum with a certain frequency. One radiance means one “note”. So if, for example, you get a regular hit and pause, then you need to hit the stump when it shines, and then do nothing when the second glow appears.
Drum scores should be transcribed from left to right, top to bottom. Next, we'll go over each puzzle in detail.
Kori Drum 1 and Mushroom Trial
Go up to the ledge located in the northwest of the area we marked. There you will find a kori drum, behind which a score for it will be drawn on the rock.
Go to the drum and press the Start Performance button. In this case, you will need to do the following:
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal Strike
- Pause
If the composition is successful, you will see a Rich Chest and a Challenge Mark next to you. Interact with the latter and springy mushrooms will appear in the air. On them you will have to repeat the same sequence of steps, with a normal attack indicating a mushroom that you must step on.
In the picture below, all the mushrooms are numbered – you will only need to touch mushrooms 1, 3, 5 and 7. If you successfully complete the challenge, a rich chest will appear on the ledge ahead.
Kori Drum 2 and Trial with mushrooms
From the previous drum, go down south to a ledge with a tent. A stump will stand next to it, and a score is drawn behind it.
Approach the drum and click on the “Start Performance” button. In this case, you will need to do the following:
- Normal hit
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Normal hit
In case of successful execution of the composition, a rich chest and a test mark will appear next to you. Interact with the latter and springy mushrooms will appear in the air. On them you will have to repeat the same sequence of steps, with the normal attack indicating the mushroom you should step on.

Corey Drum 3 and Mushroom Trial
Now head northeast and look for another score drum on the ledge. He is easily spotted by the bright brazier burning nearby.
Go to the drum and press the Start Performance button. In this case, you will need to do the following:
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Pause
- Normal hit
- Normal hit
- Pause
In case of successful execution of the composition, a rich chest and a test mark will appear next to you. Interact with the latter and springy mushrooms will appear in the air. On them you will have to repeat the same sequence of steps, with the normal attack indicating the mushroom you should step on.

How to get the achievement “Dance on drums”
You will unlock this trophy once you complete the third Springy Mushroom Trial. Note that the deluxe chest can spawn on any of the three ledges we showed you earlier, depending on which challenge you completed last.
