The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion for Elden Ring also features side quests for characters that are optional but can yield unique equipment or items. However, they are not marked on the map, and the game lacks the usual mission log, making them much more difficult to start and complete.
In this guide, we will indicate the location of all NPCs with which personal missions are associated. Plus, we will provide links to detailed walkthroughs of their personal assignments. Note that the storylines of some characters are closely intertwined with each other. Plus, they might have a slight impact on the main DLC line. We also advise you to keep an interactive map of the Kingdom of Shadows before your eyes.
Rogovest's Quest
Where to find Rogovest
Rogovest is located next to the “Cross of Three Roads” save point. If you talk to him, he will talk about the sad fate of his people, as well as the fact that Michella the Magnanimous promised to help take revenge on those who were involved in this.

The Old Woman-Hornbill Quest
Where to find the Old Woman-Hornbill
You can find her in Belurat, behind a locked door in the pantry, where she spends all her days praying to the Sacred Lions, hoping to finally take revenge on her offender.
You can get to Belurat from the “Cross at the Main Gate” travel point. Just go straight up the stairs to the northwest until you reach the room with scorpions, follow the stairs up and go to the exit. At the end, on the left by the large doors, you will see the first blessing of this location “Belurat, settlement near the tower”.

From there, turn right to the southeast and you will come to a small square with a fountain. Here, turn into the next alley, go to the end, and soon you will see a door arch on the left. Enter the room and go up until you reach the closest point to the Horned Old Woman – the “Small Private Altar”.

From this point, exit the room and turn left, where there will be two shadows. Walk forward a little along the bridge until you see a locked door.

To find the key to it, from the same grace, follow straight to the north-west exit. Climb up the stairs and, before reaching the cliff, turn right. Follow the alley, teeming with shadows, and reach the top of a small waterfall.

Turn right and enter the room. Go up the stairs and on the corpse at the exit you can pick up the key to the storeroom, in which the Horned Old Woman is located.

Thiolier Quest
Where to find Thiolier
To start the quest Tiolier, you need to find him at the grace “Cross by the road with columns”. You can find this point by moving from the point of movement “Cross by three roads” to the northwest across the bridge over the river Ellak until you reach the teleport “Front side of the castle”.

From there, first move southeast until you reach a fork, turn onto the left path and go forward until you see the grace “Cross by the road with columns” and Tiolier sitting in the distance.

Holy Trine Quest
Where to Find Holy Trine
Saint Trina is located in the hidden location of the Purple Garden, which is located on the southern coast. How to find the coast map, if you have not yet opened it, is described in detail in this article. Reach the grace point “Azure Coast” and go south, passing the Death Dragon. When you reach the cliff, turn right and follow the road with glowing worms until you see a giant. Go forward, keeping to the right until you notice a huge rift.

Descend the rocks into the rift, reaching the “Rift” point. Go forward into the cave, exit into a huge dungeon and find a new save point “Rift in the stone sarcophagus”.

Head southeast until you reach a cliff that should collapse beneath your feet.
Going northeast you will find the next point “Cross in the Rift”. Continue further from this teleport point, going down. Head northeast, being careful of stone birds and worms. Keep north, reaching another save point “Rest in the Rift”.

Having touched grace, move on, the road will be linear, and you are unlikely to get lost. On the way, an enemy Bastard Warrior will be waiting for you, after defeating whom you will receive a new prayer, “Multi-layered rings of light,” which deals continuous damage to enemies.

Going east you will see another point “Deep Rift”, around which animals will sleep. Go up the huge stairs, and soon you will reach the spirit and the sculpture of a huge horned head. Do not be afraid and jump down from it.

This will take you to the Violet Garden. You need to fight the next boss, the Rotting Knight. There will be a summon sign for Tiolier nearby to help you in the fight, but only if you talked to him before you went looking for Saint Trina.

After the knight is destroyed, the Violet Garden teleporter will open. Go further into the small cave and you will see Saint Trina. If you do not find Tiolie there, while away the time at the grace and return back. Tiolie will be lying not far from her, immersed in sleep. Igon's Quest
Where to find Igon
A dragon knight named Igon can be found near the grace “Rest by the Pillared Road”, which can be reached from the “Castle Front” point, if you follow the southeast of the location.

If you look west from the “Rest by the Pillared Road” grace point, you will see Igon, lying on the ground and screaming in pain.

Dragon Communion Priestess Quest
Where to find the Dragon Communion Priestess
From Egon, continue southwest along the road with the dragon statues until you see the sign “Ancient Dragon Man Begins Invasion”. Fight him and continue south, straight along the road, at the end turn left and you will see a cave and a new waypoint “Dragon Pit”.

Move down the cave until you reach a cliff and the message “Be brave, don't be afraid.” Jump down into the huge hole and enter the fog, where you will have to fight the boss “Ancient Dragon Man”, which will be many times more difficult than the previous one.

Next, turn right and start moving northeast until you go down the stairs and find yourself in a small square with a twisted tree growing in the center. As soon as you approach it, Quilain will immediately invade your world and a battle with him will begin. This enemy is quite good at wielding a heavy piercing sword with fire damage, so be careful.
