In HSR(Honkai: Star Rail), “Somewhere Else” is a hidden quest and belongs to the city mission series “Amphoreus Chronicles”. As the mission progresses, we join the philosophical debate between Zeno and Parmenides, who defend opposing opinions about the reality of Icatus.
In our guide, you can learn how to complete the quest “Somewhere Else” in XSR, whose side to take, and how to win the debate by unlocking one of two achievements for defeating the chosen opponent.
Completing the quest “Somewhere Else” in XSR
You can participate in the debate of the two thinkers after meeting the following conditions:
- Unlock the navigation of the sacred Ochema and get to the polis;
- Complete the mission from the main storyline of Amphoraeus – “O silver chariot, rush to the dark lands”;
Once all the preparations are done, head to the awning in the northeast of the Marble Fair in the Ohema Shopping District – in the back of the gazebo you will see Zeno and Parmenides with a question mark above their heads.
Defend Zeno's or Parmenides' Viewpoint
So, thinkers argue about the reality of Icatus – a polis that, according to existing information, disappeared in the black current. After our consent to participate in the dispute (select the answer “Allow me to join the discussion!” at the beginning of the conversation), we will have to make a choice:
- Support Parmenides (he believes in the reality of his hometown);
- Support Zeno (he denies that Icatus survived the disaster).
The choice of the thinker will directly affect which achievement you will ultimately receive, but the size of the rewards will be the same.
Let's consider which answers will lead to the end of the dispute in both dialogue options. Note that if the answer is incorrect, you will still return to the beginning of the question until you choose the appropriate argument.
Icatus exists (Parmenides)
By siding with the refugee from Icatus, we will have to answer a couple of questions from the skeptical opponent. The first concerns the reality of the polis, the destruction of which every resident of Ochema has heard about:
- “…how can you prove its (Icatus's) existence?”
The correct answer is number 1: “…the argument contains a mistake.”
The second question concerns the form of Icatus' existence, and Zeno will start going through possible options until he asks for our help:
- “…resolve my doubts…”
The correct answer is number 3: “…the package contains an error“.
After the second answer, Zeno will admire our erudition and admit defeat, and the task will end there.
Icatus does not exist (Zeno)
If we accept Zeno's voice of facts, we will have to oppose Parmenides' philosophical arguments. His first argument is that without the existence of Icatus there can be no knowledge of the polis, and Zeno addresses us in response:
- “… do you see the flaw?”
The correct answer is number 1: “… the major premise contains an error.”
As the discussion continues, the opponent will seize upon the idea that something immaterial can also exist:
- “…you should think about it from all sides”
The correct answer is number 1 again: “…you are mixing up the concepts.”
A key argument in defense of Zeno's opinion will force the Icatus rhetorician to admit defeat, thus ending the mission.
For resolving the dispute between the thinkers, you will receive the following rewards: 10 Star Jades (and another 5 for collecting the achievement), five thousand credits, two three-star resources for upgrading relics and two Memory Shards, as well as one of two secret achievements.
Achievements for completing the quest Somewhere Else in HSR
Upon completing the “Somewhere Else” world quest, you will receive one of two secret achievements that can be collected from the “Our Memories” collection:
- “Being is One” (+5 Jade) – if you support Parmenides;
- “Twilight of the Idols” (+5 Jade) – if you support Zeno.
