The “End of the Road” quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong is a minor quest and completes story with the local navigator – Shakra. The following guide will tell you how to receive this quest, where to find Shakra, and what rewards are provided for completing it.
How to start the quest The End of the Road
In order for the presented task to appear on the notice board, an important condition must be met – buy a card from Shakra in all possible locations. There are 14 of them in total:
- Bone Basin.
- Bone.
- Deep Docks.
- Hunter's Path.
- Far Fields.
- Gloomy Marsh.
- Zvonville.
- Shell Forest.
- Wormholes.
- Undercut Steps.
- Sands of Karak.
- Mount Fay.
- Road of Sinners.
- Bilewater.
That is, we must find Shakra in all these locations. Remember that if you see scattered rings nearby and hear a song, it means our cartographer has temporarily settled nearby. If you pass by or there are not enough beads to purchase a card, then Shakra will leave this territory and you will meet him at the next location, where you can already purchase previously unpurchased cards. Its location can be found on the interactive map.
When all the conditions are met, the quest “End of the Road” will appear on the wish board in Zvonville. Check out the quest board in Bellhart. After you buy all the cards, the new quest “The End of the Road” will appear on the notice board in the city of Bellhart
How to find Shakra
The presented quest will send us to “Bilewater” in search of the navigator. We will look for him in hot pursuit – the rings left behind, which were previously used to determine the nearest location of Shakra. The first trace will be found not far (right above the Zvonky Put station) from the place of movement.
After examining the find, a white trail will appear, indicating the cartographer’s movement. So we get to the second trail, after which we have to climb up the platforms.
We continue to follow the tracks through the levels of “Bilewater”. As a result, they will lead us to a secret location.
We will find ourselves in the lake area, where at the end of the location under the waterfall Shakra and her mentor will be waiting for us.
Talk to the navigator. After the conversation, play Igloncheli. This will complete the “End of the Road” quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong and receive your reward – the Throw Ring tool. This weapon is especially effective if you are attacked by several enemies at once. The ring can ricochet off walls and enemies, causing significant damage.
Despite the end of the story with Shakra, this is still not the last meeting. If desired, the cartographer can take part in the boss battle in the “Upper Chambers”. This is the only time you can encounter Shakra in the Citadel.
