As you progress through Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you will come across various collectibles. One of the most important is the Altars of the Evanuris. There are 14 altars of the elven gods in the game, by activating which you can get an achievement, as well as additional units to the Rook's health bar.
We will tell you how to find all the Evanuris Altars in our guide.
Location of all Evanuris Altars
Evanuris Altars are marked on maps with a dragon icon.
After activating each of them with a lyrium dagger, you will have to destroy several flying glyphs, scattered around the Altar. For each activated Altar, you will receive +100 permanent units to health.
For finding all the Altars of Evanuris and Fen'Harel, you can get the achievement «False Gods».
Port City
Altar of Evanuris No. 1
There is only one Altar in Minrathous, hiding underground in the catacombs. To get there, you need to take the quest “Trap in the Catacombs” from the wounded Grey Warden, who can be found in the location Glandivalis Square. The exact location is shown in the screenshot below.
Follow the quest marker directly to the Shrine of Ghilan'nain, located in the catacombs. Activate the Altar and destroy all the targets scattered throughout the Sanctuary.
One of the targets will be hidden in a window in the next room. Climb onto the wooden platform on the opposite side and destroy the glyph with a ranged attack.
Hossberg BogsÂ
Evanuris Altar #1
The first Altar of the Marshes will be located in the location Inner Courtyard. This area can be opened during the main quest “The Cauldron”.
Activate the Altar and destroy all the targets located near the statue.
Evanuris Altar #2
The last Altar in the Hossberg Bogs is located inGaspin Mansion. To unlock this location, you need to start the quest“Academic Interest”. We told you how to start this quest in our separate article.
After dealing with all the enemies, run to the second floor of the dilapidated estate and follow the balcony, where the Altar will be located.
Interact with it and destroy all targets. You will see the first glyph next to the statue, and the rest will be in the previous room.
Crossroads
Evanuris Altar #1
You can find the first Altar of the Crossroads in the Merged City. However, at the beginning this location will be closed. To unlock it, you need to complete the quest “Gates of the Lost Ages”. You can start it in the Merged City by interacting with the passage blocked by the corruption. Destroy the Vindicator and bring his essence to remove the corruption.
Once you go further, you will see the Evanuris Altar hidden behind bars. To unlock and activate it, you need to defeat all the Venatori and break all the red crystals.
All glyphs will be scattered in different corners of this area.
Evanuris Altar #2
The next Altar will be located on the lower floor of the chapel of Elvenan's Haven. To get to it, you will have to solve a puzzle with statues.
Activate the next Altar and destroy all the targets that will be on the same floor.
Evanuris Altar #3
The penultimate Altar will be located in Atim Heights, next to a dilapidated tower on the third level of the map.
All three targets will be located near the statue, and the fourth will be hidden on the lower level near the stairs leading to the rope.
Evanuris Altar #4
To get to the last Evanuris Altar at the Crossroads, you will have to complete the quest “Gates of Tarnished Glory”. You can get it automatically by approaching the gate hidden by the fel, next to the fast passage Elvhenan's Haven.
Destroy the champion in the Arlathan Forest and unseal the passage with his essence. The altar will be located on the northernmost island, where Antaam's warriors will be waiting for you.
Two targets will be located near the statue, and two more will be located at the edges of the island, which can only be destroyed with a ranged attack.
Rivain Coast
Evanuris Altar #1
One of the Altars hidden on the Rivain Coast is located in the location Bottom of the Cave. This area can only be opened during the final quest of Taash “Lair of the Dragon King”.
You can reach the statue using Harding's “Song of Stone” skill or a lyrium dagger by pushing all the stone blocks out of the lava flows.
All targets can be seen and destroyed without leaving the statue of the elven goddess.
Altar of the Evanuris No. 2
The second Altar of the Evanuris, hidden between rocks, you will find in the location Lava Flows. Â
All targets for destruction are located in the ruins near the Altar.
Altar of Evanuris No. 3
To find the last statue on the Coast, move to the location Cliff Tops. The altar will be located in a cave in the northern part of this area. Use Lucanis's “Malicious Aura” skill to create a temporary route to the desired point.
Activate the Altar and destroy all the glowing glyphs with ranged attacks. You will be able to see them right from the ledge of the cave.
Arlathan ForestÂ
Evanuris Altar #1
The first Altar in Arlathan Forest is located in the southeast of the Shadow Grove location. Turn right from the large wolf statue and, having reached the wall, turn right again. In the very corner between the columns there will be another altar to the elven gods.
After interacting with the altar, destroy all the targets scattered within this location.
Evanuris Altar #2
The next statue can be seen on a small island in the middle of the Fell Grove.
All targets for destruction will be located around the Altar, however, one of the glyphs will be hiding right behind the elf statues.
Altar of the Evanuris â„–3
Searching the location of the Ruins at rivers, you will be able to find the Evanuris Altar next to the destroyed bridge.
You will find two targets on the very bank of the river, the next one will be on the destroyed bridge to the right of the altar. You will find the last glyph next to the ruins flooded in the river.
Altar of Evanuris No. 4
You will find the last Altar in the eastern part Ancient Aqueduct, at the entrance to the ruined tower.
Activate the Altar with a lyrium dagger and defeat all the targets: in the tower, at the statue of the golden wolf, and the other two, following from the statue to the west.
