In each of 5 stagesYou need to find the correct scarecrow in the group and take out the spike with the flash card from it. After this, you will be able to read the lore information, and the scarecrow will indicate the direction to the next group. When you have collected all five: the exit from the fields will open.
Until this moment, if you try to run out of the field at random, you will meet aggressive scarecrows on your way that will attack you, and the thick fog will return you back. You can't get out of the field without solving the riddle.
How to find the right scarecrow

If you forgot the clue or don’t want to return to the scarecrow with the bag, just look in Hinako’s diary:
Interaction: Approach the scarecrow, examine it to find a spike, then interact to pull it out. You can’t inspect the “schoolchildren” endlessly – hostile scarecrows may start attacking you.
If you make the wrong choice, the scarecrow will immediately attack. Hostile scarecrows are usually weaker than normal enemies, but they attack quickly, so be careful. The game makes an autosave before each stage, so that in case of a total defeat you will not lose all your progress.
Tips for passing
- Before pulling out the spike, examine the entire group: compare poses, weapons, accessories, direction of view and head position. Clues in the text of Scarecrow with a Bag usually refer to these differences.
- Do not stand in one place for too long – several active scarecrows will begin to move in your direction and then attack.
- If you are afraid of wasting resources, you can lure enemies one by one to the edge of the field and finish them off, but if the others are accidentally triggered, you will have to fight with the group.

Plot
The clues here are the most literary and sometimes veiled. In each group, look for a scarecrow in a female form that matches the description.
Group 1

- What to look for: The only girl who has a sickle in her hand. Pull the spike out of it.
Group 2
- Hint: “Who are you? Well, it's true. Without me, you are helpless.”
- What to look for: the only girl without a weapon.
Group 3
- Hint: “Who are you? I'll be your friend. Otherwise, hello, miserable loneliness.”
- What to look for: a single scarecrow in a female uniform with a gold brooch and a red tie.
Group 4
- Hint: “Who are you? I'm serious. You're just friends, right? You know, I’ve always been secretly watching you.”
- What to look for: in the group there are two scarecrows, a boy and a girl, pull out the nail from the girl who is looking directly at the boy.
Group 5
- Hint: “Who are you? You. Yes, you.”
- What to look for: a girl with a short haircut, closely resembling Hinako, looking down. This is the last scarecrow – pull out the spike, get the last flash card and exit the field.
Hard
In the hard version, the clues are more emotional, and all the correct scarecrows look like Rinko, except the last one, which looks like Hinako.
Group 1
- Hint: “At least you can you imagine how I feel? For now, I'll pretend to be polite.”
- What to look for: The only smiling girl in the group – remove the thorn from her shoulder.
Group 2
- Hint: “Do you have any idea how I feel? What is it like to be a victim of your deception for so long.”
- What to look for: a girl with a knife in her back.
Group 3
- Hint: “Do you have any idea how I feel? He never looked at me the way he looks at you. Never.”
- What to look for: there will be a couple of girls on the field, pull out the nail from the one who is looking at the boy who is not looking at her back.
Group 4
- Hint: “Do you have any idea how I feel? You always pissed me off so much.”
- What to look for: a girl turning her head to the side as if avoiding gaze.
Group 5
- Prompt: “Do you have any idea how I feel? You hurt me—and you even hurt him. Do you even understand what it’s like to force a smile while looking at your ugly face?
- What to look for: several scarecrows will stand with knives in their backs, but only one girl with a short haircut smiles with her head down – it’s from her that you pull out the thorn.
Lost in the Fog
The correct scarecrows resemble various faces familiar from the plot of Sakuko, Rinko, Hinako and are sometimes located outside the obvious group.
Group 1

- What to look for: a scarecrow with two tails, similar to Sakuko, head thrown back.
Group 2
- Hint: “Today is your funeral. It's high time. It’s like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.”
- What to look for: a girl who looks like Rinko (can be identified by the hair clip) with her head down
Group 3
- Hint: “Today is your funeral. You hurt him and now you're leaving him. I hope that you will suffer for everything you have done.”
- What to look for: in the middle of the group of scarecrows lies a boy with a knife stuck in him. The correct scarecrow is a girl without a weapon, looking at the sky with a twisted neck.
Group 4
- Hint: “Today is your funeral. You constantly bothered me. Always stood between me and him.”
- What to look for: on the field you can see a scarecrow similar to Rinko and if you follow the direction of her gaze, she is looking at the scarecrow-Xu. Between them stands a scarecrow with a creepy smile; you need to pull out the spike from this particular scarecrow, which, as the hint says, stands between them.
Group 5
- Hint: “Today is your funeral. Goodbye and don't show your face here again. Go mind your own business as you've always done.”
- What to look for: In this version, the last scarecrow is not among the main group, follow the direction of the bodies of the fallen scarecrows, they will point to a free-standing scarecrow that looks like Hinako with its head down. Remove the spike from her shoulder and you'll be out of the field.
You pulled out the last thorn – and the field releases you to Shu and Rinko to continue the plot.
