Friend of Fire and Water in Genshin Impact— a world quest from the “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen” series, in which you will rescue captive saurian cubs and find a new friend for your Tepetlisaur companion. How to Start
To gain access to the quest, first complete the mission “Lost Children of the Forest”.
After that, head southwest of the Night Wind Lords' territory, to the coast.
Join the fight the poachers and defeat their leader.
Then open the cages with the saurians and the wooden structure, which will contain a weakened chubby.
Cook Food for Animal Friends
Go to the cauldron located near the cages.
Your choices during the cooking process do not affect the outcome – you will be corrected by Paimon, and in the end you will cook fried fish in mint sauce.
Feed Your Friends
Return to the chubby and your Saurian companion and feed them. The recovered chubby will head to its native waters – say goodbye to it and calm the tepetlisaur to complete the quest.
