In Honkai: Star Rail, Four Hundred Bananas is a mission to continue mastering and part of the “Banana Mayhem: Battles Without Ninja and Mercy” chain, in which you will have to visit the Origami Academy campus and then take part in the exam by passing Mr. Reki's casting and choosing a school. How to start the quest
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission of the line called “Andalusian Monkey”. Open the journal, find the corresponding task and start tracking it. If the quest does not appear, try moving to another location or logging out of your account and logging back in after 20-30 minutes.
Talk to Mart 7 and Dan Heng and walk around campus
Once you get to the new area, run forward and talk to your friends. Tell them about your dream, then join the primal banana chat. You can choose any answers, as they will only slightly change the dialogue. Then watch a short cutscene.
Next, you will have the opportunity to walk around the Origami Academy. You can inspect both points in any order. We first approached Labanoranta 416 from the left side. Then examine the monkey on the right, which is sitting on the table. Then talk to the unfamiliar student who calls you to him.
Listen to the professor's speech. Then head to the general auditorium to wait for the exam to determine your major. Go inside and sit down near one of the desks. Watch the short video of Mr. Reki appearing.
What to Answer Reke and Which School to Choose to enter
First, you will need to go to the other side of the location to get to the office where the casting is taking place. You will have to pass an exam, answering various questions from Reki. Depending on your answers, he will assign you to one of three schools: harmony, wealth or dreaming. At the same time, you can refuse his choice and independently choose the desired direction for yourself. Note that the final version does not have any effect on the further development of the story, but it affects which of the three achievements you will receive.
So, we advise you to simply answer Mr. Reki's questions the way you want. Then, if you don't like the school he chooses, just choose it yourself by clicking on the dialogue option “No, I don't like it…” (though you will upset the director a little in this case). There are three directions in total, and they allow you to get the following trophies:
- School of Wealth – intended for producers and opens the achievement “Yuppie Dream”.
- School of Dreammaking – intended for the cinematographer and opens the achievement “Architect's Belly”.
- School of Harmony – intended for actors (celebrities) and opens the achievement “High School Musical”.
After passing the exam, leave the classroom and chat with your friends again: March 7 will enter the School of Dreammaking, and Dan Heng will enter the School of Harmony. The girl will not be very pleased with Reke's choice, since she believed that she was better suited to the role of an actress than an architect.
Head to the pastry club
You decide to visit the local arts and crafts fair. Go to the marker, then go to the first stall on the left, where they make desserts. The student will offer you to make a banana pie using various ingredients. Your choice will not affect the plot, but will only affect how March 7 reacts to the taste of the baked goods:
- Tart and warm taste – you need to choose golden bayunan or special cinnamon from Asdana.
- Sweet and sour taste – you need to choose emerald wild banana or sugar glaze.
- Scorching taste – you need to choose scarlet prickly banana or spicy sauce. March 7 will feed you the remains of the pie.
Head to the Modeling Club
Next, go to the counter where the monkey toys are. You can immediately buy one for 8.8 thousand credits, bargain (the price will not go lower) with the seller, or refuse to buy. In the latter case, you will still receive the doll as a gift from March 7. We are talking about a souvenir that will appear in your inventory.
Take a Photo with Your Classmates
Walk forward a little and find out what happened. Then agree to take part in the competition. A photographer will be needed for the photo. Even if you suggest another person, you will still be chosen as the photographer, so you can choose any answer options.
Turn left and press the R key to enter shooting mode. Aim the lens at March 7, Dan Heng, and Rappa, then take a photo when both monkeys jump and the scene slows down. Chat with Bananaflower-chan again.
Next, talk to Rappa when you're alone with her. You can choose any answers, as it won't affect anything. This will end the mission. As a reward, you'll receive 80 Star Jades, 600 Mastery EXP, 80,000 Credits, 6 Lost Crystals, a new melody, and 8 Traveler's Guides. Plus, you'll have access to the next quest in the “Mad Monkeys” chain.
