In Genshin ImpactThe Holiday Travel Journal is a minigame in patch 5.3 and part of the Spring Talismans global event. During the event, you will have to search for various holiday toys placed in Liyue Harbor and solve puzzles related to them. As a reward, you will receive Primogems, leveling materials, and Festive Frenzy. In this guide, we will tell you how to complete all the challenges.
How to Start the Holiday Travel Journal Minigame in Genshin
Event Rules and Mechanics
First of all, you will need to start the story quest “Li Yue Celebrates, and the Eight Greats Confront the Secret Calamity”, which allows you to unlock access to all the trials of the main event. After that, you can start searching for holiday toys, the approximate location of which will be shown in the Fun by Lamplight menu.
There will be three types of toys in total, namely:
- Lucky Coins – you will need to hit them with regular attacks to make them spin. You need to set them in motion correctly.
- Spyglasses – interact with them to see stunning landscapes in the distance.
- Launch Tubes – Use normal attacks to activate them, then make them stop spinning. When the stopped tubes show certain patterns, they will start shooting the corresponding fireworks. If you can make the pipes shoot out 4 identical patterns, you will receive a prize.
