Principles of the Painted Stone and Colored Manitou Puzzles
Colored Manitou
These are a special type of manitou. Each of them has its own coloring. You can pick them up and then throw them to paint the landing site in the desired color.
If you pick up two manitou of different colors at the same time, they will mix and give a new shade. For example, in the image, the yellow and blue manitou picked up at the same time colored the stone green.
Painted stones
They look like ordinary stones. They can be found in places of puzzles with colored manitou. When you pick up a spirit, these pedestals will be highlighted with a yellow outline. They can also be distinguished from ordinary rock using the sense of elements.
If you throw a manitou on a stone that is already painted, the landing spot will simply take on the color of the spirit.
Location of all puzzles with painted stones and colored manitou
A total of 8 puzzles can be found related to colored manitou and painted stones. They are mainly located in the territory of the Night Wind Lords clan.
Next, we will take a closer look at each of them.
Puzzle 1
Located on the western edge of the Night Wind Lords' territory, just south of the teleporter. In the right place, you will see three colored manitou and a locked rich chest.
Your task will be to color three stones according to the paint spilled on the ground. If you look at the puzzle from the side where the chest is, you need to throw a blue manitou into the left post, a red one into the right one, and a purple one into the center one. You can do this in any order.
The blue manitou is jumping in the center of the triangle formed by the stones. The red one is hovering very close to the chest. To create a purple spirit and color the last pillar, lift the red and blue manitou at the same time. If done correctly, the treasure will be yours.
Puzzle 2
Go to the lake in the south of Tezcatepetonco Ridge. On the shore you will see a tower of three stones, painted in different colors. To solve the puzzle, pick up the red manitou. It is floating a little further away near the path on the right, if you are facing the puzzle.
After that, throw the manitou at the very top stone of the colored tower. When it changes its color, an amazing chest with the blueprint for “Simple Flowerfeather Clan House: Backup Plans” will be yours.
