In the backwater to the east of the Night Wind Lords settlement in Genshin Impact, right before the entrance to the Malinalco Cave, there is a puzzle with a locked gem chest. In the process of solving it, you need to escort three manitou to the graffiti on the central rock, using the special skills of the cryosaur. After opening the treasure chest, you can find a Purple Obsidian Fragment, a Pyro Seal, and many other valuable rewards – in this guide, we will analyze how to find and unlock all the trophies.
Puzzle with three manitou in front of the Malinalco Cave: how to find and solve
Head to the intersection of three river sources at the entrance to the Malinalco cave – here, in the middle of the creek, there is a small island with a couple of low rocks, on the edge of which there is a locked chest. Above on the map we marked three places in which you will find a manitou. The creatures need to be helped back to the empty drawings on the stone behind the treasure.

The first manitou is stuck in a hollow fallen tree to the west of the chest. As you approach, you'll see an ictomisaurus— transform into a beast (skill in English “T”). Then hold down the scanning ability (holding the left mouse button) and linger for a few seconds on the picture of the stone from which you took the saurian. This will allow you to remove the boulder blocking the exit of the manitou + get an item to solve the second stage of the puzzle.

Then return to the side of the treasury and go to the row of stones in the water, in the middle of which a small sparkle shines (to the right of the front side of the chest) – you need to put the stone obtained from the hollow in this place. Hold down the E key and aim the crosshair directly at the spark, then wait until the manitou circling on the ball stops in front of the obstacle. Realizing that there is no way, the spirit will head towards its drawing.

The last manitou is at the northeastern edge of the pond and cannot get out of the geyser. To help him, return to the hollow with the first spirit and pick up the stone from the picture. Then move to the geyser, and when you get there, hold down E again and place the item at the base of the fountain. By blocking the stream, the last manitou will be able to descend and return to its graffiti.
When all three creatures fill in the drawings on the stone, the reward will be opened. Inside the precious chest are 10 Primogems, 3 Pyro Seals, Mora, experience books and various resources for leveling up characters and equipment, as well as (with a small chance) a Purple Obsidian Fragment.
