Genshin Impact 5.2: Where to Find Precious Chests in Tezcatepetonco Ridge, Cuahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan

With version 5.2 in Genshin Impactthree new areas have been added to the north of Natlan: Tezcatepetonco Ridge, Cuahuacan Cliff, and the ruined Ochcañatlan. In these areas, players will be able to find quite a few precious chests containing Pyro Seals, Primogems, valuable resources for developing heroes and equipment, as well as fragments of Scarlet and Violet Obsidian.
During the search, you will have to solve many puzzles, world quests, and time trials that are rewarded not only with treasures, but also with hidden achievements – in this guide, we will analyze how to find and get them all.
Where to find precious chests in Tezcatepetonco Ridge, Cuahuacan Cliff, and Ochcañatlan
Another 26 locations with gem chests have been added to the northern half of the Pyro region. If you take into account those that can be found in the south, there are now 85 treasure chests. Take a look at the first part of the guide if you haven't yet managed to collect the chests in the capital, on the territory of the Children of Echo, the Descendants of Kron, and the People of the Springs.
Chests 1-6
Achievements for completing the game: “Ice Sliding” and “Battle Spirits…”.
The seventh chest is located on the lower level of the map, north of the Night Wind Lords clan. You can get it for solving the riddle with colored manitou – in a separate article we looked at how to find and free all the spirits.
Chest 8
Achievements for full completion: “The final touch”.
Before entering Malinalco Cave, there is another puzzle with lost graffiti spirits, for helping whom you will receive a precious chest – we looked at it in a separate guide.
Chests 10-13
Treasures 10 through 13 can be obtained by finding and completing trials with purple portals woven by the Night Wind Lords. In a separate general article, we looked at how to find all the glowing canvases, complete the trials in the dungeon and pick up not only 4 precious chests, but also 1 luxurious chest.
Chest 14
This chest is given out during the passage of the first chapter of the Night Wind Lords reputation quest trilogy, “Call of the Night Wind Lords”. Accept the invitation from the High Priest and pass the test with the woven cloths to take the precious chest on the way out.
Chest 15
Achievements for completing: “Rings are traps.”
Another precious trophy can be obtained after completing a request from photographer Jonvel, who needs help with the birds of the current on the coast of Tecoloapan Beach – we also discussed this activity in a separate guide.
Chest 16
Achievements for the complete walkthrough: “The hunter never loses his prey.”
Chest 17
Let's smoothly move towards Ochkanatlan: from the Flower Feather Clan, move northwest and go down to the coast in front of the cliff, focusing on the mark from the top screenshot of the map. As you approach, you can hear a cry for help from a cage near which there is a locked precious trophy. Go up and talk to Konulaf – the warrior was locked up for losing the battles of the saurians, and to free her, you need to make sure that the Ictomisaur becomes the winner.
After winning, we can release Conulaf and take the precious treasury near the place of her imprisonment.
Chest 18
The eighteenth chest is located on a protruding section of a steep cliff in the northern half of Ochkanatlan. How to find it and solve the puzzle with the engraved ring is described in a separate guide.
Chest 19
The nineteenth chest is a reward for solving the puzzle with the floating slabs, which is located on the coast in the southwestern part of Ochkanatlan. We have described the entire process of solving it in a separate guide.
Chest 20
Achievements for the full walkthrough: Under the Wings of Tonatiuh.
To get the twentieth chest, you will have to find a way to the floating rings in the western part of Ochkanatlan and set up two mechanisms with transmission spheres and path converters – we also wrote about it in a separate article.
Chest 21
This chest can be found in a hidden room on Tozoz Island, after solving a three-stage puzzle with the guardians of the mysterious spring. Check out the separate guide to learn how to find and complete all stages of this puzzle.
Chests 22-25
Complete achievements: “Make Room!” and “Sparking the Flames.”
The last gem trophy can be found on the sky island of “Tonatiuh”, during the world quest “Beyond the Sky” from the large-scale line “Lost Traveler in the Abode of Ash”. The trophy can be found at the last stage of collecting fire stones.
