Viewpoints are a special feature of Genshin Impact that allows you to capture the picturesque locations of the regions and remind travelers of their adventures. Natlan is rich in viewpoints that are not so easy to discover. In this guide, we will tell you about each of them.
All Natlan viewpoints in Genshin Impact
As of version 5.0, there are 14 viewpoints in the Pyro region, but the archive only lists 13, 4 of which are unlocked through world quests, and two more require completing various tasks and collecting special materials. We'll go into detail about each of them below.
Viewpoint 1
- Region: Tequemecán Valley
The “Echo Land” point is located next to the teleport in the Echo Children tribe, to access it you just need to get to the territory of the underground tribe.
Vantage Point 2
- Area: Mount Coatepec
Another viewpoint under called “Cliff Top”, depicting one of the tribes of Natlan. It is located opposite the teleportation point, on a small peg. It does not require special conditions to open.
Vantage Point 3
- Area: Toyek Creek
This viewpoint, called “The Land of Hot Springs and Flowing Waters,” offers a picturesque view of the Folk of the Springs tribe. It is located very close to the tribe's teleporter.
Vantage Point 4
- Area: Pool of Countless Flames
The small tower where the teleporter is located has a great view of the Sacred Flame Stadium, so the Arena of Glory and Triumph viewpoint is located in this place, capturing this beautiful view for our archive.
Vantage Point 5
- Area: Sulfur Veins
This place called “Rock Spikes Encrusted with Golden Runes” is also located very close to the teleportation point, on the edge of the cliff. Simply reaching this area will unlock it.
Vantage Point 6
- Region: Land of Many Megaliths
Please note that to access this viewpoint called “Stone Room with Shifting Crystal Columns”, you need to complete the “Shadows of the Mountains” quest chain, which we covered in a separate guide.
During the mission “May the Sleepers Rest in Peace”, a teleport will become available, next to which the desired viewpoint is located.
Vantage Point 7
- Region: Overworlds
To unlock this viewpoint, called “The Uninhabited Lands”, you need to complete the quest series “A Tale of Dreams Torn from the Fire”. It is located on the central of the floating islands. You can get there by spiritual path, turning into a Koholasaurus, or approach her immediately after completing the quest “The Seeker Does Not Find”.
Viewpoint 8
- Area: Ancestral Temple
Located on a ruin platform very close to the teleporter. The “Ancient Temple” does not require any special conditions to unlock.
Viewpoint 9
- Area: Tequemecán Valley
The purple light “Mother Tree of Plenty” can be found on the plains near the teleportation point at Tepeacaque Ramp, but it won't just appear – for this vantage point, the tree must be infused with phlogiston during the side mission “Ready for Trouble”, which we've already covered in detail.
Vantage Point 10
- Area: Mount Coatepec
This is a secret viewpoint called “Where the Painted World Unfolds.” To get to it, you need to collect 6 Broken Stones with graffiti, their location is discussed in more detail here.
You will need to restore the graffiti on the wall to make it disappear, opening a passage to a secret cave, which is located in the depths of Mount Coatepec (you can get there from the internal teleporter). A purple beacon will appear in front of the entrance to the cave.
Vantage Point 11
- Area: Secrets of Firethief Island
Although this location is not marked on the map and appears only after completing the trials that we wrote about in a separate guide, it is enough to simply get to the teleport, next to which is the observation point “Journey to the Secret Island”.
Vantage Point 12
- Area: Hall of Farewell Vows
The “Painting with Vows” vantage point will only become available after completing the large storyline “Between Promise and Oblivion”, during the quest “Revelations of the Past”.
From the teleport point, run forward to the balcony above the Phlogiston Lake.
Vantage Point 13
- Area: Night's Trial Chamber
This location is located behind the Stadium of the Sacred Flame, obsidian spikes stick out of the ground near the teleporter at the Judges' Chamber, but to unlock this place, you need to collect the Night Obsidian Fragments, which we talked about in this guide.
As soon as we get to the world of night, we will immediately stumble upon the viewpoint “Testing Grounds of Restless Night Souls”.
Vantage Point 14
- Region: Tequemecán Valley
“Among the Painted Peaks” is located near the statue of the Archons of the Children of Echo tribe, on the edge of a cliff where there are many painted birds.
