In the Pyro region in Genshin Impact, you can find many precious treasure chests that contain Primogems, Pyro Seals, and all sorts of valuable loot. In this guide, we will tell you where to find them all, and how to complete the puzzles, “Warrior's Trials” and world quests that accompany obtaining them.
Where to find precious chests in Natlan
Trophies with precious contents can be found throughout Natlan, and as of version 5.0, there are 59 of them in total: 37 chests are on the surface, and the remaining 22 are in underground locations. Among the ways to obtain them, you can note world quests, puzzles, and trials with phlogiston flows. Below, we will consider each area separately.
Precious Chest 1
- Location: ravine in front of the western entrance to the Children of Echoes settlement (Tequemekhan Valley).

Let's start the search for precious chests from the outskirts of the Children of Echo geo-tribe: teleport to the nearest Archon Statue in the settlement's radius and walk along the gorge to the west. On the way, you will meet an adult geo-saurian looking at a boulder with a lava mark. When approaching, a prompt will appear from above: possess the dragon and hit the pyro-picture on the stone. After a mini-game with pulsating marks, you will receive the first precious trophy.
You will have an unlimited time trial, for which we have compiled a video walkthrough:
Precious Chest 2
- Location: hill in the north of the Tequemecán Valley.
Go to the hill in the northern half of the Tequemekán Valley: in the place marked on the map screenshot there will be a makeshift pen with wooden animals. Getting this chest is possible after solving the puzzle with alpaca figurines – we described the whole process in detail in a separate guide.
Precious Chest 3
- Location: hill in the north of the Tequemekán Valley.
Behind the previous reward location, there is a cliff with a Geo Dragon Nest on top. Help return two lost zavrians here, and you will unlock a reward in the form of a precious chest.
- First zavrian
The first baby is stuck in a cart of unfriendly Natlanians, south of the nest, and to free it you need a strange key to the Saurian cart. We described the process of returning this baby in a separate guide.
- The second Saurian
The second hatchling is sitting on a low boulder northeast of the nest, and to return it, you will have to swap bodies with an adult Geo Dragon: change form, burrow underground, and then climb to the place where the zavrian was sitting and perform an underground push (basic attack) on the golden pulsating mark.
Then catch up with the cub and, when you get close, have time to click “Chase!“. The stopped dragon must be petted, then followed and petted again – after that the fugitive will go home.
Returning two lost Geo Dragons will reward you with one Precious Trophy.
Precious Chest 4
- Location: Hill north of the Sulfur Veins (Tequemecán Valley).
Return to the place where you found the first baby Saurian from the previous point and run to the east: along the way, you will come across a blocked a trophy guarded by a pair of automatons— defeat mechanical enemies and collect your reward.
Precious Chest 5
- Location: northeastern edge of the highlands at the entrance to the Sulfur Veins.
The fifth reward is unlocked for a series of activities, after which you will receive not only a precious, but also a rich, and luxurious chest – about how to loot all the trophies, read in the fifth point of the pinned guide.
Precious Chest 6
- Location: an elevation in the center of the Sulfur Veins (Tequemecán Valley).
Move to the center of the Sulfur Veins and go to the locked chest, around which the flying squirrels are crowded – this is the starting point of the puzzle, for solving which we will be given another precious trophy. As soon as you approach, the camera will zoom out, and we will be shown how three creatures flew off in different directions – they need to be returned. To make it easier, we made a screenshot of the map with the location of all the escaped animals (see above).
To search, you need to change your appearance to a geo-dragon, or take Kachina into the squad.
- The First Flying Squirrel
One of the squirrels ran to the round stones near the Tomb of the Deep: approach the creature, and when it hides, follow the pulsating marks and break them (normal attacks of a burrowing Saurian or Kachina in E-state).
- Second Flying Squirrel
The second squirrel also stands near the round boulders, but to the east of the place with the chest – again we dive underground and we watch where the pulsations appear (see screenshots above).
- The third flying squirrel
And the last one sits near the rocks north of the chest – dive underground once and hit the golden mark.
Now go back to the chest, loot it and make an underground push the lava crack that was underneath it – a precious chest will appear.
Precious chest 7
- Location: eastern passage in the Sulfur Veins
This chest will be given for completing the “Trials of the Warrior” from trainer Sentaki – for the exact location and completion of this spiritual path, read Point 6 on the pinned guide.
Precious Chest 8
- Location: southern half of the cliff before the passage to the Sulfur Veins.

Precious Chest 9
- Location: Southeastern edge of the highlands at the entrance to the Sulfur Veins.
To get this trophy, you will have to solve the manitou puzzle – its detailed walkthrough is left under item 6-8 in a separate guide to finding all the rainbow “fairies” of Natlan.
Precious Chest 10
- Location: east of the inner Sulfur Veins area.
This trophy, like the chest from point 9, is associated with finding yellow fragments obsidian and is also covered in our separate guide. To get the reward, clear the area of local enemies.
Precious Chest 11
- Location: Upper edge of the cliff south of the Sulfur Veins.
Another precious reward that can be obtained for a perfect completion of the “Trial of the Warrior” from the Children of Echo (details of the walkthrough in point 5 of the pinned guide), starts at the upper edge of the plateau south of the Sulfur Veins. Complete the Quiltec training and collect all the trophies.
Precious Chest 12
- Location: northern half of the stream along the Tequemekhan Valley.
Next, head to the enemy camp on the tree, located on the surface northeast of the boss mark of the Voracious Mountain King-Yumkasaurus. Here you also need to defeat opponents, and then collect the reward.
Precious Chest 13
- Location: area near the stream between the Sulfur Veins and the Tepeacaque slope.
Get to the blue-crowned tree west of our Saurian companion's resting area. Go to it and change form to a large Dendro Dragon (they are resting under the tree). Then use the Saurian's E-key and climb the green markers to the top of the tree to get the trophy.
Please note: if you climb up as a character, the chest will not spawn. An exception may be similar abilities of Kinich.
Precious Chest 14
- Location: West of the inner Sulphur Veins.
In the western part of the Sulphur Veins, there is a hidden cave where you can find a precious chest with a graffiti fragment – check out our separate guide (item 1) for details on how to get this trophy, as well as how to use the find.
Precious Chest 15
- Location: Quest underground location in the western Sulphur Veins.
This chest can be looted during the mission “Under the Crystal” – it is on the stairs on the way to the small Shadow Needle.
Precious Chest 16
- Location: Quest underground location in the west of the Sulfur Veins.
On the stairs behind the location of the previous trophy, as part of the “Under the Crystal” quest, you can find red metal key — it opens a cave with a couple of regular and one precious chests, the process of obtaining which we described in a separate guide.
Precious chest 17
- Location: clearing behind the teleporter near the path to the capital of Natlan.
To unlock the reward, you will have to solve the torch and paint puzzle – read our separate guide on how to find and complete it.
Precious Chest 18
- Location: teleporter area southeast of the Tyrant Kukusaur boss.
From the place with the previous puzzle, run north – along the way you will come across several local bandits, looking at the stone altar. If you defeat two waves of enemies, a precious trophy will appear in front of the boulders they are interested in.
Precious Chest 19
- Location: in front of the entrance to the Tyrant Kukusaur boss arena.
Near the passage to the Tyrant Kukusaur's nest, there is a trainer for the “Trials of the Warrior“, Shiuo. Read about how to complete her training and get the precious trophy in Point 3 of our separate guide.
Precious Chests 20-24
Chests 20-24 can only be obtained as part of the world quest “Revelations of the Past», conditions for the start and a full walkthrough of all stages of which you can read in our separate guide.
- Location: ruins to the west of the Echo Children settlement.
The first precious chest (20th) in the quest “Revelations of the Past” can be obtained at the stage of examining the ruins, before passing to the area with lava springs.
Next, at the moment of separation of the Traveler and the Saurian, we find ourselves in a corridor with lava rays – at the end is the next, 21st trophy.
Chest 22 will be waiting at the moment of reunion with a friend, the saurian, in the recess behind the fresco, in the south of the ruins.
And the last two precious treasure chests (23, 24) will become available at the end of the mission “Revelations of the Past”, on the mysterious island that summons the “Dragon's Chosen”.
Precious Chest 25
- Location: cliff edge east of the capital of Natlan.
Chest 25 is given for testing the spiritual pathfrom Lirio – a girl from the Descendants of Kron stands on a narrow cliff to the east of the Sacred Flame Stadium. We told about the training prepared for her in a separate guide (4th point).
Precious Chest 26
- Location: gorge on the southern side of the capital city (entrance to the Chamber of Night's Trials).
To get this reward, you need to complete several world quests, get to the Chamber of Night's Trialsand successfully complete the combat challenge. Read a separate guide on how to get to the location and defeat enemies within the allotted time.
Precious Chest 27
- Location: enemy camp behind the Ancient Watchtower dungeon.
Travel to the Ancient Watchtower dungeon, climb the cliff and run south – you will come across a hostile Natlan camp, clearing which will open access to a valuable reward.
Precious Chest 28
- Location: Quest area under the Ancestral Temple.
Precious Treasure Chest 28 is collected during the side quest “Prepared for Trouble” – find out the details in a separate walkthrough.
Precious Chest 29
- Location: ruins northwest of the Kron Scions settlement.
Go to the wooden canopy in front of the hole between the capital city and the Cron Scions tribe – this is where the “Treasures and Collectors” quest starts, during which you can get a precious chest. Its full walkthrough is described in a separate guide.
Precious Chest 30
- Location: A crevice on the southwest side of Mount Coatepec.
Travel to the underground teleporter in the southwest of Mount Coatepec, exit to the surface and go down to the foot of the waterfall – there is a ledge above it with a precious reward on it.
Precious Chest 31
- Location: center of Tetikpak Peak.
Climb Tetikpak Peak and run to the central lake with a wooden outbuilding. Near the shore, among the swimming water dragons, you can see a bubble – choose Mualani or change the appearance to any Koholasaurus (interaction with the “T” key), and then explore the water anomaly. The starting point of the spiritual path test will appear at the site of the bubble.
Agree to “Start the Challenge” on the phlogiston streams and earn 12 thousand points. We showed the process of passing in the video below:
If you finish the route at A-rank, you will be able to loot two rewards: a precious chest and a regular chest.
Precious Chest 32
- Location: Stream in the east of Tetikpak Peak.
Another training on the spiritual path, prepared by Matsatli, is located on the eastern half of Tetikpak Peak. Its exact location and the process of obtaining the reward are described in a separate guide (point 7).
Precious Chest 33
- Location: ruins on Tetikpak Peak.
This trophy is related to helping Manitou Babies – check out our separate article (item 32-34) and learn how to free the spirits and get your reward.
Precious Chest 34
- Location: Northeastern edge of Mount Coatepec.
Chest 34 — reward for «Warrior's Trials» from Trainer Kim, who stands at the northeastern edge of Mount Coatepec. Check out Item 8 of our separate guide to learn the process of obtaining this precious trophy.
Precious Chest 35
- Location: Dungeon under Mount Coatepec.
To get this reward, you will have to collect all graffiti fragments, and then get to the underground area under Tekikpak Peak. Read a separate guide on how to find all the puzzle pieces and get the treasure.
Precious Chest 36
- Location: Ruins northwest of the Ancestral Temple.
To get this reward, teleport to the north of the Ancestral Temple, and then go down to the cave entrance (see the marked area on the map screenshot).

There will be ruins inside, as well as a mark to change the appearance of a Dendro Dragon. Transform into a Saurian, and then use its E-key to climb to the upper level of the area. The chest is in a darkened recess at the top, on the north side of the dungeon.
Precious Chest 37
- Location: Path in the northeast, before the Ancestral Temple.
Get to the area indicated on the map near the Ancestral Temple to pass the test from Manzan of the Descendants of Kron – its full walkthrough, as well as the condition for the appearance of the NPC, are described in a separate guide (item 9).
Precious Chest 38
- Location: Ancestral Temple (Mount Coatepec).
Precious Treasure Chest 38 is located on top of the central building in the Ancestral Temple, above the teleporter area.
Precious Chest 39
- Location: Legba Camp, Ancestral Temple.
This trophy is located under a canopy in Legba's camp, on the middle level of the ruins with the teleporter in the Temple of the Ancestors. If the NPC is not there, complete the puzzle from the introductory part of the quest “Return of Night to Night”.
Precious Chest 40
- Location: Northern foot of the ruins in the Temple of the Ancestors.
Go down to the foot of the ruin complex in the Temple of the Ancestors and run north: in front of you there will be a rock with lava veins, near which geo slimes wander.
In this place you need to defeat three waves of enemies: first small geo slimes, then a couple of pyro slimes, and finally – a lava golem. After clearing the area of monsters, a precious chest will appear between the stones.
Precious chests 41 and 42
Chests 41 and 42 can only be obtained during the quest “Return of Night to Night”
- Location: underground area in the south of the Temple of the Ancestors.
Once you start the quest, get to the lantern puzzle stage, lower the water level and jump down to the narrow passage deeper into the ruins – there will be a standing in front of it41st chest.
Reach the southern edge of the ruins and complete the quest, at the end of which the 42nd trophy will spawn in front of the altar.
Precious Chest 43
- Location: Southeastern edge of Mount Coatepec.
Move to the Fire Ruins and head southeast: at the edge of the hill, near the location of the quest “May the Star Grant a Wish”, you will find a locked treasure chest surrounded by golems buried in the ground – defeat the monsters and collect the reward.
Precious chests 44 and 45
- Location: Phlogiston Mining Research Center, southeast of Mount Coatepec.
While exploring the Phlogiston Labs created by the Fatui in the underground location in the southeast of Mount Coatepec, you can find two precious chests. One is on top of the main “cauldron” with the substance. Below is a video showing how to get to it with the help of a Dendro Dragon:
The second chest is locked in a cart south of the high phlogiston storage, and to open it you need a key with notches in the center.

Precious Chest 46
- Location: Island south of Mount Coatepec.
Not far from the coast, south of the Ancestral Temple, there is an island with a protruding stone on which a water dragon sits. Around this place the next beginsPhlogiston Flow Challenge: Complete a run as a Koholasaurus (or with Mualani) and score 7,000 points.

Having reached A-rank, you will have access to the precious and rich chest.
Precious chest 47-50
Trophies 47, 48, 49 and 50 are located in a hidden dungeon, which we described in detail in a separate guide – it also describes how to get most of the chests and solve riddles with manitou.
- Location: underground location “Cave of Spirits” in the north of Toyek Creek.
After reaching the “Spirit Cave” and completing all the puzzles with the rainbow fairies, you will receive two precious (47, 48) + one luxury chest.
Then go to the northeast of the underground: in the dead end before the waterfall you will find the 49th chest.
The last, 50th trophy in the “Cave of Spirits” is in the west of the location: go to the wall indicated by the red arrows (see screenshots above) and transform into a geo-dragon (or take Kachina into your party).
If you dive underground behind the Tepetlisaur or activate Kachina's E-shka, you will see a pulsating labelunder one of the arrows – push this area to get the monument out from under the ground.
It remains to fill the column with phlogiston, after which access to the secret room with a precious chest will open.
Precious chest 51 and 52
- Location: cave near the dungeon “Sanctuary of Myriad Spirits”, northwest of the Toyek streams.
Trophies 51 and 52 are located in the cave at the entrance to which the dungeon “Sanctuary of Myriad Spirits” is located. Inside, you'll find a group of unfriendly Natlanians guarding one of the chests – just take care of the enemies.
The second trophy is in a recess behind a grate, which requires two “keys to something” to open. We told you where to find them and whose fire phantom is behind the grate in a separate guide.
Precious Chest 53
- Location: Pier in the eastern waters of Ameyalco.
Let's continue our search in the territory of the Folk of the Springs: move to the teleporter on the eastern half of the waters of Ameyalco and go down to the pier, where a group of unfriendly warriors is located. After defeating all opponents, you will receive another precious trophy.
Hint: Shooting the rafts will make the enemies fall into the water, allowing you to fight only one enemy at a time.
Precious Chest 54
- Location: Lake tributary north of the Archon Statue in Toyek Creek.
In this area, you will find another “Warrior's Trial“, the process of which we have already described in a separate guide (item 2).
Precious Chest 55
- Location: foot of the mountain northeast of the Archon Statue in Toyek Creek.
Get to the southern slope of Mount Coatepec (see map screenshot), and clear out the camp of unfriendly Natlanians to loot the reward available in this area.
Precious Chest 56
- Location: Coast to the east of the Wellspring Settlement.
The Last Trainingwith streams of liquid phlogiston from Auia, for which, in particular, they give a precious chest, we have analyzed in detail in a separate guide (item 1).
Precious chest 57
- Location: coast in the south of the Toyek streams.
Move to the shore of the island in the south of the Toyek Streams and change into the water dragon form swimming nearby (or activate E-shku Mualani) – lifebuoys are visible in the water, one of which washed up on the far shore. You need to swim to it and pick it up, and then return to the other circles and leave the missing one among them.
After a small puzzle with inflatable rings, a marker for the start of the spiritual path route will appear – collect 9 thousand points, as shown in the video below, and get a precious and rich chest.
Precious chest 58
- Location: Island in the south of Toyek Creek.
This reward is given at the end of the quest “Midday Seabirds» — read our separate guide on how to start this quest and loot the precious chest.
Precious Chest 59
- Location: western shore of the island in the south-east of the Toyek Streams.
The last precious chest is given for completing the mission “Over the rainbow, over the waves!” – in a separate guide we told you how to complete all the tests within the quest and collect the reward.
