Where to Find the Puzzle
Teleport to the Huitztli Hill waypoint, then turn left and run north to the edge of the cliff. Jump down and glide towards the river. Below, you will see a stone protruding from the ground that looks like a drill – this is the puzzle location. To solve it, you will need to find three buried people (bright circles on the ground) and bring them to the monolith.
First Buried
Look to the west – you will see a handful of condensing crystals ahead. Go to them and destroy them with Kachina or Tepetlizaur (you can also use a Geo character or a two-handed sword). After that, a bright circle will appear on the ground, which will start moving towards the wooden platform and stop (its location will be indicated by a white light on the ground).
Now start leading him towards the stone by approaching it and pressing the “Search” button. In the screenshots below, we have shown the places where he stops. We advise you to deal with all the enemies around you in advance so that they do not interfere with you later.
Second buried
Look to the right of the monolith and you will see a hole in a huge tree. Climb up and enter the tree. Go down and pick up the hook. Climb out and go to the stone block on the other side and place the hook you found earlier in it.
Next, transform into a Yumkasaurus wandering nearby (press “T”) and use the skill on the block (press “E”) to pull it to the side. This will free the buried one, and it will crawl to the stone itself. If this does not happen, then try to collect the crystal bugs inside the tree.
The third buried
Then head east from the monolith to a pile of condensing crystals and a buried one. Use Kachina or Tepetlisaur, then hit the protruding fire rock with a skill to activate the creature and bring it to the right place.
As soon as he approaches the stone, it will split, and you will see a black totem. A luxurious chest will also appear nearby. Note that if you touch the column, you will be transferred to the arena, where the battle with the Patronage of Ichcahuipilla will begin.
