Genshin Impact Showdown Time: How to Explore the Aerial Workshop
In Genshin ImpactShowdown Time is a Natlan world quest and part of the Guns and Wings quest chain. During it, you will explore the air workshop, freeing cornucopias from cages and fighting various enemies. At the end, you will have to defeat Alpa. Showdown Time Walkthrough
How to Start the Quest
It starts automatically immediately after completing the previous mission of the line called “Death Pursuit”, at the end of which you will immediately find yourself in the Tepala Air Workshop dungeon. However, if you exited the game at this point, then simply move to the top of the mountain west of the Flowerfeather Clan and interact with the phlogiston geyser to get back to the dungeon.
Explore the Aerial Workshop and Free the Caged Cornucopia
After talking to Chaska, who you will receive as a trial character, by the way, run forward to the quest marker, and you will immediately see a cornucopia sitting in a cage on the right side. Switch to an archer, hold down the attack button (LMB) and use an aimed shot to hit the circle above the cage to free the cornucopia.
Keep running forward to the edge of the platform and pick up the Phlogiston Flame. Then activate Chaska's skill (press “E”) and fly to the other side. There will be another cage here – free the cornucopia by shooting the glowing target at the top. Then talk to Chaska.
Continue exploring the Aerial Workshop
After studying Tepala's notes, run to the mechanism and shoot it with your bow to create an air current. Jump on it and fly up, then land on the platform on the right with phlogiston. Activate Chaska's skill again and start flying to the platform ahead, dodging turret shots. The gif below shows the entire journey.
Once you land on the platform, open the rich chest and run forward to the large arena. Here you will have to fight several ordinary opponents, who should not cause you any problems. Then study Tepal's new notes on the bookshelf.
After watching the cutscene, move to the next platform, then activate Chaska's skill and go down to the platform below. Once inside the room, shoot the target on the cage, then go up the stairs. Fly to the other side, dodging the turret shots.
Enter the next structure and shoot the target on the wall to unlock the chest and remove the balloon from the ceiling. Then shoot an arrow at the target on the floor to create an air current – use it to fly to the platform on the right. The gif below shows the whole process.
Defeat Alpa
Run further to the center of the workshop, picking up the phlogiston lights along the way, and watch a new cutscene. You will find out that Alpa was actually behind everything. Talk to her. Then you can choose any answer, since you will have to fight the woman anyway.
Alpa is not much different from regular enemies – except that she has more health and deals more damage. However, we advise you to simply activate Chaska's skill and start using charged attacks, destroying all enemies on the ground. A few volleys will be enough to destroy all the mobs.
After defeating the enemies, watch the epic cutscene with Chaska, Alpa, and Koya. Then listen to the dialogues between friends. This will complete the quest and the entire chain. As a reward, you will receive 475 Adventure Points, 60 Primogems, 38,100 Mora, 5 Discord Instructions, a Star-Fire Keystone, 4 Hero's Books, and 8 Magic Enhancement Ore.
