Walkthrough of the “Notes to the Story” quest in Genshin Impact
How to start the quest
First of all, you will need to get to the station in the Capital of Creation, starting the story quest “They Walk the Stars”. Get off the train and talk to your friends. Kirara will say that she will not come with us, since she still has some things to do. After completing the conversation, you will see a cat girl standing near the boxes and bushes. There will be an exclamation mark above her head – chat with her and tell her that you are ready to help her.
Explore the path and the Marquis's abode
Next, start following Kirara, who will first lead you to a dilapidated house , and then you will come with her to the village. Watch the video in which you will hear the voice of a stranger and a new clue. You need to explore the path ahead.
Turn the camera to the left and walk forward a little. Start going down the steps until you see a large hole on the right leading into a cave – jump down there. You will find yourself in a spacious area.
Move forward in a northeast direction, exploring the future abode of the marquis. Then read the text on the square ledge about the “Union of Witnesses” located next to the three thrones. Listen to the conversation between three toys.
How to extract the great mechanical key
When the strangers stop talking, go up to the ledge in the north and look for a mechanical key here, which the marker will point to. Select the “Pull” option, but you won't be able to pull it out. Then hit it a couple of times with a regular punch (LMB) until the “Pull Harder” message appears and click on it.

How to Complete the First Drawing of the Oracle Pillars
