In Genshin Impact, the Tezcatepetonco Ridge, Cuauacán Cliff, and Ochkanatlan puzzles, which are part of Natlana, are found at almost every turn. By solving these riddles, you will receive secret achievements, open new passages and obtain treasure chests.

Tips for solving puzzles in Tezcatepetonco Ridge, Cuahuacan Cliff, and Ochkanatlan
In this section, we will briefly analyze all the types of puzzles that you will encounter in these locations, so that you roughly understand the principle of solving them. Then we will provide links to guides for each specific puzzle.
Cornusaurs
With the new Flower Feather clan, a new type of Saurian has appeared in the game – the Kukusaur. Once transformed into one, you can fly into the sky by double-tapping the jump button. By controlling it, you can rise higher, perform a wing flip, and enter a state of accelerated flight by holding sprint. All these actions consume phlogiston.
There are separate trials for the Kukusaurs, designed by the clan to develop their flying skills. In one of them, you will need to earn points by flying through Reconnaissance Rings and breaking Reconnaissance Chains made of solid phlogiston using the attack button. By breaking these objects, you will absorb some phlogiston.
Occasionally, you'll encounter Phlogiston Gaseous (first screenshot below), which works the same as Wind Blast, but deals damage to anyone who isn't a Cornsaurus or a member of the Flowerfeather Clan. They can also use Phlogiston Wind Tunnels (second screenshot below), which can teleport them to other areas almost instantly.
In Natlan, you can also encounter the Fire Vortex Confluence, which is a cluster of gaseous phlogiston. Again, Cornosaurs or members of the Flower Feather Clan can use them to replenish and maintain their phlogiston supply. If you use a falling attack in this state, you can temporarily create wind currents.
Phlogiston Balloon
Special balloons that float in the air using phlogiston gas. Destroy them to restore phlogiston to your active character.
Ictomisaurs
The second type of Saurians are the Ictomisaurs, who live near the Night Wind Lords clan. Their light and flexible bodies allow them to jump high, and using phlogiston, these creatures can jump even higher. In addition, when using the sense of the elements, they activate special vision, allowing them to see secret images.
Holding down the aim button will cause Ictomisauruses to enter a “Spirit Whisperer” state, allowing them to absorb phlogiston from nearby objects. They can also summon special graffiti or symbols with phlogiston engravings.
Graffiti and Night Spirit Bodies
Ictomisaurs and Night Wind Lords are able to absorb the power and information contained in Night Spirit graffiti by holding the targeting button, and then create corresponding Night Spirit bodies. Only one body can be stored in a single graffiti.
Night Spirit Symbols
It is said that in the past there was an Ictomisaur artist who managed to combine phlogiston engravings with oil graffiti, thus creating special Night Spirit Symbols. Ictomisaur and members of the Night Wind Lords are able to take the information contained in them by holding the aiming button, which can strengthen you or give you certain benefits.
Strange Manitou and Colored Stones
In the specified areas, you can find manitou of different shapes and colors, which is why some call them “colored”. They can be yellow, blue, and red. At the same time, you can match two manitou of different colors to get a new color.
Collect colorful manitou, then find dye stones or special graffiti and throw them at the creatures to change their color and get various rewards (mostly chests).
Pale Mist
The ancestors of the Natlan people tried to drive away the pale fog from the north using special stone statues. Use their power to create a small colored zone. You can move them with attacks to solve various problems caused by the fog.
Note that when affected by the Pale Mist, the strange manitou become very depressed. You need to return the environment to the standard state so that they become colorful again and you can collect them.
Sealed Fire Crystals
Special crystals that are used to seal the power of ancient ruins. You can destroy them with strikes and rams. When they are destroyed, the power of a specific location is released from them.
Guardians of the Mysterious Source
We are talking about special mechanisms that can be found on the territory of Ochkanatlan. According to legends, they were developed by the ruler of the destroyed city based on devices from an even more ancient era. They used them for surveillance and control.
It is noted that these devices can be used to carry heavy objects through the force fields of phlogiston constructs, thereby moving them to the necessary places.
