In Genshin Impact, Paths Through the Wild is a quest in the Natlan world and part of the “Arms and Wings” quest chain. In it, you will need to help the caravan, visit Chaska's “mother”, get to the Koi habitat and defeat all enemies. How to start the quest
Before you can take on this mission, you will need to meet several conditions, namely:
- Reach at least Adventure Rank 40 (or 28 if you use the quick start function). In a separate guide, we gave tips on how to increase it.
- Complete the Archons' quest “Rainbow Doomed to Burn”, which is the fourth chapter of the fifth volume of the main story.
- Complete the previous mission in the chain called “The Night Before the Trial”.
Once you have completed the above requirements, go to the “Legend Quests” section of your journal, then open the “Tribal Chronicles” category and click on the “Tlalocan: Clan of the Flowerfeather” panel, then start tracking the third chapter.
Travel to the settlement's western teleporter and head north again to the wooden platform where you spoke to Inkanak earlier. Talk to Chaska and Alpa here. You'll be asked what you think of the Phlogiston Wings. You can choose any answer, as it won't affect the ending or quest rewards.
Help the caravan
After the conversation, teleport to the Pyro Archon statue west of the village, then head to the road. There you will find a caravan that has been attacked by a Kukusaur. Watch the cutscene, then talk to Chaska.
Return to the tribe's settlement by moving to the obsidian stone in the center and talk to Chief Mutota. Chaska will suggest that you first find a mediator – her “mother” can be one.
Visit Chaska's “mother”
The required Kukusaur can be found on the island located northwest of the Pyro Archon statue. We recommend that you transform into a Saurian using the redstone located near the statue to fly to the desired area faster. Then land in the center of the marked area and talk to the cornucopia.
Go to the Koi habitat and defeat opponents
Then continue flying north to the next island, using the cornsaurus to do this and refilling the phlogiston points along the way. Land in the center of the area marked on the map, on the beach and watch the new video.
The merchants you encountered earlier will suddenly appear and put the cornsaurus to sleep. You will attack them. Chaska will come under your control. Overall, these are easy enemies, so you should be able to deal with them without any problems. Watch the new cutscene and beat the information out of Isidore.
Once you finish the conversation, the mission will come to an end. As a reward, you will receive 375 adventure points, 31 thousand mora, 4 hero books and 7 magic ore of enhancement. You will also open access to the next quest of the chain called “Chasing Death”.
