Heavy Wings in Genshin Impact: How to Cure a Wounded Kukuzavra

In Genshin Impact, “Heavy Wings” continues the large “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen” mission chain and is a hidden world quest in Natlan. On the plateau northwest of the Ancestral Temple, we find a camp of merchants who hunt saurians. Later, we will have to help the wounded cornucopia recover from its injuries and get back on its feet.

From our walkthrough, you will learn how to find the medicine and cure the cornucopia as part of the quest “Heavy Wings”.

All missions from the chain “In the Footsteps of the Dragon's Chosen One” will not be available if you do not complete the quest “Lost Children of the Forest”. But they are not connected with other assignments (or even with each other).

To find the poachers' camp, climb Tetikpak Peak in the Coatepec Mountain area and run across the plain to the northeast. As we approach the area, we can hear a small squabble between the bandits, near whom lies a wounded kukuzavra.

Get closer and defeat all opponents. After the battle, the villains will admit that they are trading Saurians, and will even try to butter up the strong Traveler. After sending the bandits away, the main part of the quest will begin – healing the feathered dragon.

Examine the wounded Saurian

First, examine the cornsaurus by approaching the exhausted creature. In the next dialogue, our tame Saurian will volunteer to look for a way to heal its relative, and then run towards the nearest edge of the cliff.

Run after the companion and wait until it finally stops near flaming bud. The animal points to a plant that should obviously help in treating the cornucopia.

Next, you need to collect three ash stamens: our dragon has already approached two of them, and the third grows near the fence on the edge of the camp (above is a map and locations with all the buds). To collect the material, attack the closed flower with any hydro attack.

Return to the injured bird and give it all three in turn petals. The HP bar will gradually fill until the bird can stand on its own feet – with this, the final scene of the mission will immediately begin.

The healed kukuzavra will come to life and calmly go to the edge of the camp, and then fly away into the distance. The proud feathered dragon will not look grateful, but will leave behind a small gift. After the quest, we will receive 30 primogems, 200 adventure experience points and 35 thousand mora. Be sure to go to the place from which the dragon flew away and take the epic artifact left behind – Mountain Patrol Beacon.
