In this guide, we will look at why Shining and Engraved shards are needed, how to get them and what is the most profitable way to spend them so as not to lose rare currency after the end of the Od events.
Why do we need Shining and Engraved shards
Shining and Engraved Shards can betraded for arcana cores and skins in the section of the same name in the Astral Limit:
- For 1 Shining Shard you can purchase costumes (5★) of the current Oda event or 800 arcana cores;
- For Engraved: 4★ images (each for 20 shards) or 160 arcana cores (for 10 shards).
Use them before the end of the temporary Ode so as not to miss out on a profitable exchange!
Ways to obtain currency
You can only get both types of shards through repeated costume drops in the temporary Oda. If the outfit is already in the wardrobe, resources are awarded for duplicates:
- Repetition of 3★ accessory brings one engraved fragment;
- Repetition of 4★ costume – five engraved ones;
- Repetition of 5★ skin (if there is already a second recolor of the set) gives one shining fragment each.
Do not delay the exchange: at the end of the limited Ode, Shining fragments areautomatically convertedinto arcana cores (at a ratio of 1:800). While the banner is active, these resources will be more useful. For example, they can be used to pick up an alternative color for a legendary costume. After the end of the Oda, the value of the resource will drop sharply – only enough for 5 spins.
