The Hungry Artist in Genshin Impact 5.2: How to Paint a Wall with Colored Manitus

Continuing to find puzzles near the Night Wind Lords in Genshin Impact, we will go to the locked treasure chest in the lowland north of the main building of the Cryo clan in Natlan. In the process of obtaining the treasure, you will have to free the colored manitou using the skills of the Ictomysaur, and then paint the wall with colored splashes.

For solving this puzzle, the player will not only open access to the chest, which may contain a Purple Obsidian Fragment and a Pyro Seal, but will also receive a secret achievement “Hungry Artist” – we will analyze in this guide how to get all the rewards.

The puzzle location is on the Tezcatepetonco Ridge, north of the Night Wind Lords' territory (the intersection of the bases of two waterfalls on the lower level of the map). Once you get there, first go to the waterfall where Kinne, the Spiritual Path Trainer, is standing and use the Soul Migration Mark in Cryo Saurian (highlighted skill in English “T”) – only after that can you begin to free the colored manitou.

We are interested in three places opposite the main treasure: a stone cube, a life preserver, and a couple of enemies looking at paint splashes near the western waterfall. First, we will free all the spirits, and then proceed to the second part of the puzzle – painting the wall.

Instead of the Ictomysaurus, you can take Ororon, if you have it on your account. This hero's night spirit works exactly the same as that of the cryosaurians.

Pick up the cube

Go to the glowing stone cube opposite the chest and use echolocation (holding down the left mouse button) on the cloud graffitileft. After picking up the item, place it with the Saurian's E-key directly above the cube – this action will create a balloon that will lift the boulder and free the first group of colored spirits.

Remove the life preserver

Then go to the right and use echolocation again, only on the underwater graffiti, to the right of the glowing lifebuoy. Scanning the underwater mark will remove the barrier, thereby opening the way for the second group of spirits.

Disperse the enemies

To free the last group of colored spirits, approach the eastern waterfall and deal with a couple of enemieswho are looking at the colored blobs on the ground. When the enemies are gone, approach the creatures and escort them to the gathering point.

When all 10 flowers are collected, stand in front of them and pass the test of painting the wall. There are no time limits here, so hold down the E key and smear the wall in front of you until the game itself stops you. By the end of this creative process, you will be awarded the achievement “Hungry Artist” (+5 Primogems from the “Wonders of the World” collection) and a precious chest will be unlocked. It contains: 10 Primogems, 3 Pyro Seals and random standard loot for leveling up heroes and equipment.
