First, you need to complete the mini-quest “Onward to Blazing Adventures!” to open dailies in Natlan. After that, the quest can drop on any day. To increase the chance of it appearing, change the region of daily quests to Natlan in the Traveler's Handbook.

The further development of the quest depends on your choice. Below we will consider all possible options.
If you chose the first option in the dialogue, you will need to give Grispan one copy of Candleweed or Ashweed.
Fight the enemy. For this fight, it is worth using heroes from Natlan: using the mechanics of the Night Spirit's Blessing, they charge the automaton and, when it is ready to use the cluster laser, they can inflict huge damage on it. However, any pack with pumped up heroes will do – the enemy has fairly low resistance to any elements and physical damage.
After saving Grispanu, he will thank you, and the quest will be completed.
