In Genshin Impact, Aphid Treasure Hunt is an event in Patch 5.1 that requires you to find aphids that have been corrupted by Void energy, then chase them down and catch them using a special insect net. As a reward, you can get Primogems, Mora, and valuable leveling materials. In this guide, we will tell you how to start the event and complete all its challenges.
How to Start the Treasure Hunt Event in Genshin Impact
The event will start on October 10, 2024 at 10:00 server time and will end on the 21st of the same month at 03:59 am. However, before you can take on its passage, you will have to fulfill several conditions, namely:
- Have at least adventure rank 20.
- Complete the Archons' quest called “Song of Dragon Freedom”, which is the third chapter of the Prologue.
Complete the Archon quest “The Rainbow Is Doomed to Burn”, which is the fourth chapter of the fifth volume of the main storyline (optional).
Note that the last quest is optional, but completing it will allow you to delve deeper into the plot of the event. After completing all the main requirements, you should automatically receive the event's starting quest – just start tracking it in your journal. If this did not happen, then go to the “In Search of Aphid Treasure” page and click the “To the quest” button.

Head to the Children of Echo tribe and learn about the appearance of an interesting new product on the market. Then go to where you first noticed the Void Aphid and catch it. At the end, talk to Shilonen again to complete the quest. As a reward, you will receive 20 Primogems and 4 Adventurer EXP.
